took it out to defrost anyway. I was thinking it would last for a long time, when you buy sausage rolls or frozen steak pie it last for over a year. Just wanted to make sure before I used it. Thanks

Just defrosted a block of puff pastry to put on my pot pie but there is some leftover and in OS style I wondered what I could do with the little bit extra I have. Was thinking of making some miniature pies for DH to take to work for dinner this week but have no little pie moulds. Any ideas?

Ramekin dishes, or make pastys instead of pies?

    Hi kdean,

Do you have a yorkshire pudding tin? I've used one of those before and it worked well.

There's an older thread on what to do with puff pastry that might help:

puff pastry.. what can i make?

I'll add your thread to that one later to keep all the suggestions together.

I always cook the scraps on a tray along with the pie & snack on them :D

not very money-saving or good for my waist though

I used to make mini pizzas using puff pastry and a bun tray

A bun tray also works well for making small fruit pies so I don't see why it wouldn't work for meat ones or anything else really.
