Is AVG running ok?

Your computer 'appears' fine, so i suspect your only problem (if it works fine via ethernet cable) is your internal wireless card

i checked those 3 boxes and clicked fix....but nothing seemed to happen then i ran the scan again and those r are still in the log ?

also keep getting this mesage when i try to run the scan

for some reason your system denied right access to the host file. if any hijacked domains are in the file this may not be able to fix this.
If this happens you need to edit the file yourself to do this click start, run, type
notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\host and press enter etc
for vista simply exit hijack this, right click on the hijack this icon choose run as administrator....

is this how this programme normally runs ?

Nothing major, dont worry about it

If you wish to try another way ~

Download CCLEANER
http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds/downloading-slim
Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)

It should really be run as admin as it states

thanks again...tried everything to run it from admin but no luck , right click on icon usually gives me that option with everything else but not this one lol

press the SHIFT key at the same time

right clicking over the icon and holding shift key at same time only brings up same options ie open pin to start menue setc

Your absolutey sure 'run as ' doesnt appear directly under 'open' at the top?

yep sure...right click icon on desk top and no option for run as admin so click open and it opens the grey box , welcome to hijack this this prog will scan your pc etc

Maybee i havent set it up yet proparly ? where can i find it apart from the desk top ?
