Have just sold my daughter's Slide on eBay and got £70 for it so thats gone to the mortgage fund.

Re the wedding. I think I have just got bored with the blanket coverage on the TV. I also feel the same way about the Olympics and they are a year away

    Have a lovely weekend

  • Morning all

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I have just raided our savings account and made a one off overpayment of £3000. It has been posted off today in cheque form.

That means I have now reached my overpayment target for this year and now have an outstanding balance of £2300

    Enjoy the weather

  • OMG

I have just read the first page of my diary. This time last year our mortgage was £9000. When the O/P cheque clears it will be £2300. I really don't know how we have paid off nearly 7K in a year. I have had quite a lot of time off sick in the last year with chest infections and then a recurrent back injury. These absences from work were all unpaid

So a year on DD is now 11 and out with her dad today so I can have some me time then its back to work again tomorrow. Its really low paid but pays the bills. They have just rung me to say they are on their way home

I think its about time I paid a visit to Lewis Lane. My garden there must be really overgrown

    See you there

You have done so well to pay that much in one year. I bet it won't be long till you find the rest.

Thanks, I have run out of things to sell on ebay now so payments will slow down, but still on course to be gone by year end.

    Have a lovely day.

    Evening all

I have had 2 no spend days. Yesterday was because I was at work and today because DH was gardening and I sat outside to keep him company. After all I couldnt possibly garden with a back like mine :D

I did keep him supplied with lots of cups of tea, making one for myself of course

Well its back to work tomorrow so the chances are I can go until Saturday before I need to spend a penny (not literally of course) :rotfl::rotfl:

It will then be time to do a little food shop and use my £6 off £40 spend voucher at Tesco.

Hope you are all having a lovely evening.
