I watched that video and thought no way will it be that easy.
Just been and got a thin knife and tried it on the kitchen door.
Hey presto, i'm amazed it was so easy.
Lets hope for Loopy now.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

When I bust my bathroom window lock (my own fault, using the key wrong
) I was braced for a huge bill from a local locksmith (granted in daytime not out of hours), and was pleasantly surprised when he put a new lock on, eased the damaged window mechanism, taking about 3/4 hour in all, and charged me £25.
I have his number programmed in my mobile phone now in case I lock myself out of the flat!I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Unfortunatley so, I would love to see regulation but I don't think it will ever happen in this country.

Thank you so much for all your help. I tried a ski glove but i was a wee bit too 'chunky' have just found normal gloves so will go give it a wiggle!!Its hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........

When you say the door moves at the bottom, by how much do you mean? I'm just wondering whether perhaps you had a garment hanging on an adhesive hook on the back of the door and the hook has fallen off, so the garment is caught under the door when you try to force it open.
Could that be the case? If so, no amount of fiddling around with the bolt will sort it out.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
