Also, I never used to get AF pains, but now I sometimes do...0 -
Yes Quaver my mum told me that after her MC she had a really heavy period too.
It's not so heavy yet (although this is only the first day!) but I am getting nasty cramps and feel really yukky and tired
OH has kindly offered to sleep in the spare room tonight so that I can stretch out and get a good nights sleep (dont know about anyone else but sometimes I just need the bed to myself!!)Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Tinkwings; just popping in here to say that my first AF after my ERPC was pretty much 4 weeks to the day; my cycle length is normally 28-29 days too so don't give up hope just yet.
I had no warning it was coming; no sore boobs or cramps and tbh it wasn't any heavier than any other AF that I have had nor was it painful in the slightest. It lasted the normal 3 -4 days before nicely sodding off!
Try not to get too despondant, and I know that having been in your situation that it's easier said than done. When AF does arrive the relief is amazing; for the first time in months I was actually happy to see her!
It will happen for you and hopefully in the next 7 days.
Keep your chin up

This is such a supportive thread - I have just read through your posts and wanted to say how sorry I feel for you all. I started having MC's 20 years ago and had 2 before I had DD1 and then another 4 (including DD2's twin) before I had DD2. I don't think I will ever forget how sad and useless I felt after each time I Miscarried. I still don't think I have come to terms with it because I still remember how the consultant I saw told me off for crying when I had the second miscarriage and his exact words were "why are you crying - if it's a gonner it's a gonner!" - I still feel a totally irrational anger when I think about him. I also hated the fact that each time I went to the hospital they always referred to the lost babies as the "products of conception"
I wish you all the best with TTC.Jane

Ladies,
Sorry to ask, but do you think i may have an infection as my af is all odd and today i have woken up with a mild fever, but feel absolutely freezing and everything is starting to hurt?
I know it has been a month since the ERPC, but if my body is not back to normal i would like to sort it out! I am stuck at work, feeling rough as a dog, and don't really know what to do.
Sorry for the mini rant, take care

Ok Kate sounds like you have something. Could it be a cold/Flu type thing??? I would get it checked out if I was you. Better to be safe than sorry. I know they said that smelly discharge along with a fever is a sign of infection down there. So if you are not having that than chances are it is some other bugs getting you.
You rant away. That is what we are here for.
Take care of yourself. Could you stay until lunch then go home??????
Hugs xoxo :AIf you can think it........it will happen0 -

One is prone to infection after erpc, that's why one is not supposed to have a bath, or use tampons and to dtd with condom.0
