I am growing my own veg in pots, and am trying to avaoid buying anything in packaging that I can't reuse or recycle. I am also not using any carrier bags.

I'm going to grow more veg this year. My husband has finally been allowed to retire so I'm enlisting him for the heavy work - should be a great help.

We've also just finished double-glazing the house and adding extra loft insulation and have turned the boiler as low as it will go. We're considering turning it off altogether during the summer and just boiling kettles for the washing up.

Im going to get my pushbike out and ride to work during the summer months it will hurt but hay got to be done:j
