So far this year we have insulated our loft and dug a 30ft veg patch in preparation to become completely self sufficient in veg this year. We are also getting 4 chickens so we no longer have to buy eggs. Our plan is to be as self sufficient as we possibly can and avoid supermarkets as much as possible.

We have also gone down to a one car family which is not only more eco friendly but will save us a small fortune.

Having got my bike fixed and well on the way to getting some pannier bags (yay!) I'll be using the bicycle more and the car less (less CO2 and money-saving!)

I'm going to ride my bike more instead of driving on small journeys. Not only will I save petrol and therefore carbon emissions, but I will also lose weight. Perfect! :beer:
