Hi all
Been MIA for a few days, can't get over this cold and have a few worries going on at the minute
Diva - HUGS to you!
Jackie - I can't stand pesky neighbours, why people can't just make the effort to be nice is beyond me
Pipkin - Good luck today
Met my grandma the other day for lunch, Pizza Express Half price. I love my Granmda to bits, she isn't the most cuddly Grandma but she is fantastic!
Off to see one of my friends tonight for a few hours and them home and early night!!!0 -
Thanks for the good wishes everyone.
Going to get ready shortly, but would much rather be spending the day on here
If I tell you about my signature, then the mystery has been removed
:D
Actually, on the competitions board, they have a 'win an A - Z of prizes in 2010'. Those in red are what I've won so far this year:
A trip to Legoland
A Holiday
A wii Game
Pipkin - I've been wondering all week what your signature meant! Glad to know now.
My colleague has arrived at work so I'm no longer alone :j although he is in a different office to me. We are however taking it in turns to make the coffee, which is code for lets have a half hour chat about nothing rather than work! :rotfl:
I have just had a reply to my email complaint I sent to Monsoon re the sales assistant leaving the security tag on my dress, and then getting no apology when I had to go return it to be removed. They have apologised and will send me a £5 voucher for my troubles
not that you can buy much for a fiver in there! :rotfl:

Morning all
Not been in for a while, too much going on.
Have stripped the beds and WM done its stuff so will get the sheets on the line for a blow as its nice and sunny here for a change, they wont dry but will smell nice and fresh.
Toast for brekkie
bacon torpedo rolls for lunch, yummm havent had bacon for ages.
Dinner is huge pork chops I got from Morries last week, with loads of veg, then fruit for pud.
Had my friend Jo staying with us last week for a few days so we were out and about a lot. It was nice to have her here, she sold her bungalow and has been staying with her son until she can move into her house, the couple who live there are'nt moving until thier house is ready in March so Jo is a bit of a nomad at the moment. But she knows she can come here any time she likes.
Havent read through for ages so will have a look later.
Have good days all
Anne

Afternoon All!
Don't have much work to be getting on with this afternoon as I was super organised this morning and managed to get it pretty much all done before lunch time :T so have decided to take a break and browse the web for a bit!
Didn't do much last night! I didn't fancy cooking as had an awful day at work, so we went out to get something nice, quick and easy; only for me to walk round the shop going "I'm not paying those prices", "I can make that much tastier at home and cheaper" :rotfl:In the end we went home and OH cooked us hm meatballs and pasta with hm garlic bread! Very tasty it was too! Ended up not eating until 8pm though....I was famished!
Chilled out for the rest of the evening watching various stuff on iplayer.
Having a MUCH better day today so I won't throw a strop and refuse to cook tonight!
;) Am using up all of the food we have before I go shopping at the weekend so a random meal tonight. Also need to hoover and do a general tidy up (along with my no cooking strop I had a no cleaning strop too! :rotfl:)
Hope everyone's doing ok and has a good rest of the day!0 -
Hi, would anyone mind me joining in? Pipkin said you were all nice in here.
As well as that I really need to get organised before I go back to work, the house is a mess and we eat far to much ready prepared stuff:oSealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
Hope your 'worries' are sorted soon. Not much worse than having things "on your mind", I know.RachelW1987 wrote: »....Been MIA for a few days, can't get over this cold and have a few worries going on at the minute
Now, if they would only come in and put it away!bargainbird wrote: »....Mr T's arrive :T, oooh i shall be doing that again

Hi Sandy! Have not been in here too long myself and must say yes, they are a lovely lot! :AHi, would anyone mind me joining in? Pipkin said you were all nice in here.
Well, did the cottage pie and decided to use another pack of mince I had for something else so made absolute TONS and packed it in the freezer. Did up the dinner dishes and unloaded towels and put them away, hoovered, took a cuppa out to BH in the workshop and just about to make myself a coffee, nice strong filter one.
Want to get any thing that needs done online finished today or tomorrow as I'm hoping for a "offline weekend" with lots of slobbin' around, nibbles and magazine/newspaper/book reading. . . . possibly a bit of rubbish TV to boot :rotfl: With any luck I'll be back in tomorrow.0 -
Hello everybody,
I just posted and I lost the lot. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I really had the best day and the meet was fab. We're up at Haribo's place. She's off picking up her girls from school. She's lovely, so is her younger sister Pink.
Her house is gorgeous and obviously her flylady is working.
I'm sitting her ein the lounge gazing at DH through a smoky haze. Her fire lighting skills are sadly lacking but having smoky hair brings back good memories.
We're off to the Isle of Lewis tomorrow until Monday. I hope everyones been well and will write again when I can. Take care. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Sandy71 Hi & welcome to the Daily thread

Still waiting for Sky engineer here. It's going to be chaotic shortly when all the children get home I'll be rushing round making the tea and we're back out at 6.30pm for DS2's parents evening. The engineer will regret not coming this morning
