Morning all!
Glorious sunshine here today, ex/oh/whatever he is at the mo is playing golf so he will be a happy bunny! Me and the dog were still frozen though when we went out earlier, but nicer to be frozen in the sun than the rain!
Off for lunch with a friend I don't get to spend enough time with today, looking forward to catching up, and bargain price of #5 a head at a really nice Italian!
OS stuff today will be limited to washing and ironing bedding (only ironing mine though, I can't bear scrunched up bedding, kids bedding is polycotton so doesn't really need it), S&S the kitchen and a quick mop of the utility and kitchen floors. Rest of house had a thorough going over yesterday, except the dining room, which once again has become a dumping ground - will rope in kids to remove all their rubbish tonight so I can sort it out tomorrow properly.
Planning another wii night with the kids later, we will be mini ninjas and also trying out the wii dance game I bought on Monday, so many people have recommended it and said what fun it is that I picked it up at work!
Think dinner will probably be some kind of pie, need to check mealplan, but the pastry must be in the fridge for a reason! Yesterday's wraps went down even better than usual, found a bag of frozen mexican style veg in Lidl for 99p and it was really nice mixed in with the chicken stripped from the whoopsied chicken legs! Kids have asked for it again, so will grab a few bags when I next go past Lidl - think they also had Italian and Chinese style versions too, so might get those as a standby.
Lunches for kids: garlic cheese (hm from yoghurt) on hm bread with salad, choc muffins, cheese, apples
Dinner: probably chicken and leek puff pastry pies, and quite fancy steamed sponge pud for dessert (though might not be quite so keen after eating my own weight in pizza in a bit!)
Hugs to all who need one, time for an espresso and a catch up now xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Morning!
N9eav- Thanks for starting us off, and thank goodness there are people like you who can 'handle' doing your job.
Haven't been in for a few days as I'm out on the park in the mornings Mon-Wed and then have to get our dinner as soon as I get in, then it's on to what needs to be done inside. And coffee. And a fag or twoBy the time I get sat down to have a few minutes on here I'm really not in the mood to be sitting in front of the puter and just want to veg out . . . .
Will be trying to get some things done online today, have done the online order for delivery tomorrow morning. The whole place needs a good dusting and possibly a bit of fumigating as 'The Beast' is a bit smelly as of lateHaving cottage pie & wedges for dinner and there is some ironing to do to. Sent BH for a couple of things one of which was sliced turkey breast from the deli for tea. The slices are always huge and I usually get two which do 4 rolls (2 teas) and it is a treat. Came back with just what I asked for, nothing more, but over 1 pound of turkey breast and it was over £10.00!! I had to be fanned and resuscitated! Worked it out into 2 slice packages and put the rest in the freezer.
Best be off and make a start!
Sunnyday- We have a 'group' (nice term) of 'those' here too.

I have very unpleasant neighbours, and it can really make a difference to where you live
I'm glad you're in the frame of mind that she won't be able to start bullying you.

Morning all
I've been lurking, but not posting much - my hands ache, so typing hasn't been easy
Diva ((hug)) for you
Hester - lol - well done for standing your ground. I hate it when people want stuff done yesterday.
Csarina - good luck with the packing
N9eav - I have the highest respect for anyone that can do the job you do - it must be quite harrowing at times
Pipkin - good luck
Mummysaver - I love mini nijas
Life has been hectic here - I've been snowed under at work, just meeting after meeting after meeting. Although it's nice to be invited, I am by far the most junior group member - in normal terms, I wouldn't be there. Our funding comes from a US based company though and they tend to be much less concerned with hieracy than UK based groupsThey are back in two months - and we have another formal dinner. I am off wprk today - my head hurts and my hands ache, so for once I'm not going in. I am going to spend the time at home sorting out my folksy stuff and drinking coffee.
Life at home is also pretty mad. Oh finally has a date his decree is being pronounced. My sister is filing for divorce. She's doing well given the circumstances and is really looking after her son very well.
My pasta attachement for the Kenwood showed up and it is a gadget destined for the cupboard of useless gadgets. Niec pasta, but such a faff. OH enjoyed making it though. I dried a load of mushrooms we found at the weekend. Dinner will be noodle soup and dumplings as I have time to do something that isn't egg on toast.
Right - must go an get organisedhave a good day all, cel x

Going to get ready shortly, but would much rather be spending the day on here
If I tell you about my signature, then the mystery has been removed:D
Actually, on the competitions board, they have a 'win an A - Z of prizes in 2010'. Those in red are what I've won so far this year:
A trip to Legoland
A Holiday

Good morning, rather a late one for me. Any morning I get the opportunity to sleep I do at this time of year. COme summer I'm fine getting up early.
I think I reported yesterdays activities and aggravations last night. No sign of my parcel of work yet. I might try and go to the sorting office again after work and see if anything has happened. I can't get on with the work until it arrives and it should have been here Monday! I've lost all those days!
didn't manage to get dinner ready in time last night, so ds made himself eggy bread and I had a bowl of cornflakes and pear to keep me going tiil friend had been to have her nails done. Then made some GF pancakes. Had the rest for breakfast. Hoping kids will make quesedillas for tonight.
Picking dd up from the station if she's on time, otherwise she'll have to come and collect the keys from me at work and get bus or walk. Nice to have her home again for a couple of days.
Hope you have a good day all."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
