    Munchki - what about a short voluntary work placement ( a week/ couple of evenings etc) somewhere where there's likely to be a regular turnaround of staff? It's a bit of a long term hit and miss plan however it can't do any harm - even if they don't offer you work, it's something extra for your CV and shows that you are willing to learn/ develop etc.
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

    hey Munchki.... sorrry about the job.. :( something will turn up... keep with us luvvie, we'll get you through it!

    well my Monsoon dresses have arrived and they are FAB! they still have their labels attached too..... I can't wait to get them on ebay.... I do have a quick questions though..... would a dress worn by a model attract you more than a dress on a dummy?? The model option would be cheaper as I have a few neighbours whos kids (18+ !!) would be happy to dress up and have a few pics taken (neck down only) for a couple of quid or I would need to spend about £50 ish for a dummy...... dilemma....

    I am having a good day with ebay too... some of my kids clothes have gone for a lot of money! So far this evening about £60 (not inc fees) and I have another 15 ending this hour with bids of £75 at the moment..... I feel more stock being purchased!!

    I've also set up a twitter account for PM ready for when I need it.... thought it best to have the accounts on facebook and twitter ready incase someone else nabs the usernames!!

    Em - follow your gut insticnt.... if it feel right then do it.... dont let it stop you from having kids when you want...... maybe take the job,m squirrel away lots of pennies (the difference in new/old salary) in case you don;t like it/want to go back when you do have a baby.... be selfish about it....

    off to F5 ebay again!

    back in a bit

    Blog looks great Nixi!!! i like that background :-)

    Mambury-I think I'd rather see the dress on a dummy-not sure I like the thought of someone else wearing it first? Perhaps thats a bit OCD !?

    ah just reread that you'd have to buy a dummy-no ,stick to the models or just lay them out nicely on the bed/floor (the dresses not the models) This makes no sense!! sorry :-/ lol

    I think my neighbours might object to me laying the models out nicely on the floor!! LOL!

    I could end up with a massive return from these dresses so I want to get it right.... the label in itself will command a good price but I want th ehighest price possible..... I can afford to buy a dummy with my sales tonight.... just not quite sure what to do for the best....
