Hey all, being tortured by the OH playing call of duty. I am inspired to have a playstation related accident involving the love of his life and a hot steaming mug of tea.

Munchki, don't give up on the commitments list - sometimes just seeing my list up there keeps me going. It will get better xxxx

With the rest of my commitments when I go to the wedding shows over the next couple of weeks I will have a better idea of layout and organising. Although Nixinixi has given me a good start. Other than that looking forward to a week off work - and sorting my SEO.

:) I like being reminded that I have helped! :rotfl: Seriously pm me to bounce ideas/thoughts around if you want!

Iknow what you mean about the PS too......

Munchki - Behave! You are only feeling like this because you feel rotten. You know in your heart of hearts that life is a journey and obviously life has a plan for you and you just haven't found the job that fits yet...we are all hoping it is the Dundee job lol! But seriously only a week or so ago there is no way you would have been aplying for a job in Scotland because you hadn't realised it was what you wanted, so as much as you have been searching for a job you have only really just realised what it is you want to search for....so is that why nothing has worked out? I don't know, I am not that clever. I know it is hard at the moment but when it is right you will look back and be grateful you didn't just get offered the first crap job that came along.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, it really isn't meant to be, but it is meant to be a reality check!! but I am offering hugs too :rotfl:

    hugs xx

I can see that you wouldn't want to turn work down but do you need to have a set notice period even if only 48hours? If this becomes a long term thing you will be frazzled in no time and your work (and reputation) will suffer.

Hi everyone, hope you're all OK :)

EMminently, I would definitely go for the better position; you can always drop back a bit later on, and the challenge and new skills sound great.
Munchki, sorry the job search is going badly, by the sounds of it you will get there and deservedly so :) can't believe the amount of driving you have to do though!

I've listed about half of my stuff on Ebay, and I've made some glow-in-the-dark buttons and applied for JSA today. Hoping I will be able to backdate it three months which will pay off the overdraft and hopefully enable us to get a loan with the bank to pay off an outstanding debt. Also hoping to get something decent that fits in with school hours as OH works different hours week to week; to be honest my confidence work-wise is shot :( I need to get a CV done and actually figure out what I can use my qualifications and skills FOR instead of faffing about because I'm scared I might fail at something, or someone might think I'm a bit rubbish. If I could drive it would be far easier. But I can't get a car 'cause I ain't got a job, can't get a job 'cause I ain't got a car...
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
