    Has anyone heard from MMTWGR?
Have been mostly washing baby sick off clothes, floors, booster seats today! Seems to be one child constantly down with something atm.

After reading all the comments about forging on ahead and taking no notice of OH's whinges though I'm actually feeling loads more determined. Now I just need to shake off whatever it is I've picked up - feel like someone's been bashing my muscles with a brick!

Sorry about the interview Munchki, sending you positive wishes :)

I hve sent two texts to MMTWGR and not heard a word from her! I really hope she is ok and just very busy!

Munchki, that healthcare place is completely out of order, I've worked for three and nowhere have they asked me for money upfront! As for the training for free, I've never heard of that either, it sounds completely dodgy!
I was working for a mobile care company before I went on maternity leave and I don't want to go back - they treated their staff well but the hours were all over the place and tbh I got a bit sick of cleaning up after people; I'd done it for 15 years and felt like a change. Went for an activities coordinator job in a dementia which was great, loved it for about three weeks, then got finished as they had no money! Would you not fancy doing something in a care home, or is there nothing like that either?
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Hope so too, maybe she's just having a really rough time and doesn't feel like speaking to anyone :(

Munchki - sorry to hear the job search isn't going too well. One of my strengths has been helping friends/ family etc find work - through improving CVs/ job apps etc. More recently, i've helped a number of people to increase their incomes through a job evaluation process. If you would like some help, let me know. Whether that's having a run through your CV or having sight of your job apps before they're submitted etc... It's something i've done for years now and always seem to get the result we want. PM me if you think I can help out at all.
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

    Good for you
sometimes it makes you more determined and the more someone wants you to fail the more effort you make to prove them wrong

Sometimes the world seems against you ,I know, but maybe right job is just round the corner Munchki

    Consider yourself kicked :).

Imagine your loft is Alladin's cave full of treasures, and report back later on the goodies you've found.

If all you find are mice, a leaking roof, and you manage to fall through the ceiling tiles .... blame Martin :money:.

    All the best.
