I will return son to rant. I'm in the middle of DIY hell, plan today is paint the hall. Munchki will tell you i was testing paint colours at 11pm :)

My OH has !!!!!! syndrome too. His answer for everything usually if i ask him to do a chore like load the washing machine or sweep up in kitchen or something is 'But i WORK'

heheh I think we were still chatting about paint at midnight!! Love the colour ideas tho!

Yikes, same! And I don't actually think it is that much to ask that a guy doesn't smell, has a job (am not even that fussy here! :p ), can interact with others, doesn't have to consult with his mother OMG my recent experiences have me firmly in single camp for now.

I figure if there was anything worth committing to lol I might! But yeah, having people trudge in and out of your kids life is a bit of a worry huh. Mostly when I think ... hmm ... would I want you around my child the answer is .....

I have more of a list of traits I don't want a guy to have than ones i want him to have lol. Although he has to have a better job than me, a car, no kids (hypocritical I know but i've tried it and I definately don't like it), be supportive but know when, and how, to tell me when i'm be ridiculous and go along with most of my random ideas ('seaside at 6am on a windy horrible day, yes why not' 'Let's just hop in the car and go somewhere, preferably with shops':rotfl:)

Things he can't be, found out through experience: an alcoholic, younger than me, un-intellegent, a DJ, skint, someone with history with anyone i know or related to anyone I know, hmm..married and yes seperated still counts as married and therefore totally wrong, a wearer of 'hobo' coats (HOT GUY: 'Is this tramp bothering you darlin??' ME: 'Erm, he's my boyfriend') ... this list can go on forever :rotfl:

least I can do.... I did apply about 18 months ago (there is a massive old thread on it on up your income) they are fairly legit (from what I can tell)

I can't do the hours they wanted which were evenings and weekends....

I think they have contracts with Sky .....

thanks hon, but I am beginning to think with the over 700 cv's and applications I have done over the past 7 months that is never going to be a yes!!

Right now I really need to get out of here and just want to throw something!!! I rarely ever get angry, but I am really angry right now and very frustrated!! What have I done in my life that was so bad that this just wont go away or get better???

when do you finally get to the point where you realise that determination does not seem to make a difference and you finally just admit defeat?

I have never been a defeatest but I think I am nearly there now! This is past nuts now!

    really really sorry to rant
