Oooo what an evening of highs and lows I've been missing!

Munchki, welcome in advance to this side of the border! :j Sounds so exciting and you are sooo positive, go for it!

Hugs all round for those of you with man troubles, I really feel for you - where was this thread when I needed it! Those days are gone for me now I'm pleased to say, and the only problem I have with my OH is that he's currently in Canada, and I'm not!!

lol thank you. I am going up for a short weekend the week after this and cant wait. I try and go up ever few months to see dear friends and to recharge my batteries a bit. I dont even have to see the welcome to scotland sign, I just know inside when I have crossed the border as I become instantly calm and that alone is worth it all!

Go for it, munchki. Any particular part of Scotland? My family are Scots but I've lived in England most of my life, but when I go back there it's home even though I don't have any close family up there any more. It's like some bizarre race memory or something lol.

I'm going to sound out the folks that would be affected by my move this week. I'd need to change the hours a little at first to ease the way (allow an extra 15 minutes or so for people who come a distance to get there and get parked and stuff) and I'll go over there on Saturday and walk around and work out exactly where there is parking. Apparently the council have looked at buying some nearby land to build a car park so that would make it much better - I can feel a letter to the council to ask what their plans are coming on. If I am to give my current place notice (I am working on a month, although we don't have a contract) then I need to be ready to go by mid-March, so if I aim for the end of this month that gives me some wiggle room.

Well ive been scouring for slogans that would be good for selling since using the mse copyright could cause problems. Found some good ones so will need to get some quotes for say 50 t shirts to start and see how things go from there, if they sell i can build on that. Anyone fancy setting a 't shirt business' up with me?:D

I am intending to move to the Fife area of Scotland. If things work out that is.

I think you are making the right decision hon and I have no doubt you will do very well!

Wayne, still think it is a good idea, just make sure you double and triple check that any slogan you decide to use does not fall under any sort of copyright infringment! Have you thought about what type of market you want to target as once you do you can start thinking about what type of tshirts would be profitable to promote and sell.

Havent really thought about a specific target, ive been looking for good slogans that could sell. My aim is to use one of these sites that you send them the design, and they do all that side of it, then i get them back and flog them.
However thats the thing, im trying to think of a good niche in tshirts i can specify in.
I want to give it a shot, because although im usually the type to play myself down, i may not be the best at some things, but you you see people 'doing well' with themselves and you think, i would like to get on more, but i always end up putting it back!:o
