Need some help with a tagline for my website, it will sell self help classic books, ie think and grow rich, how a man thinketh etc..... I have a domain name but need a tag line for the header etc... but they will be in pdf, audio and video format. (domain name is Self Help Classics Collection, nothing there yet!)

    My thoughts are:-

    Original Classics - Modern Media
Original Classics recreated on Modern Media

to show that they are old books in a new format but cant decide!
    e-classics?
    Original Classics on Digital Media?
    Original Classics on Computer Media?

    xx

I agree and I am one of those locals!! (I have been told I speak in a "posh" accent though!) Don't worry, I think you will understand me!

So sorry to hear your news Cake *hug*

Paula - it's great! I really enjoyed reading it and was a tad disappointed when I discovered there was no more to read!!
One question though, who is Sylvia? ;) Let me know if you add more to it please!

Right, off to do some eBay listing and some crochet while it's still reasonably early in the day.

Thank you! :) Sylvia was what I'd originally called the girl, can you tell :rotfl:might have to get on and do some more, good luck with your crochet! x

Anyhow - can anyone point me in the right direction to get help with how to get large pictures in the middle of my actual text right up / item description on EBay?

Will not be having a productive day in the challenge sense as my best friend is up from Cornwall :T - so will be having a good natter (plus my 4yr old & 1 yr old seem to be saying "mummy" every 5.98 seconds........ I AM CHANGING MY NAME!! :rotfl:)

    HAVE A GOOD DAY EV1 !!

change your name - I wish I had done that years ago..... expect they don't even call me mummy any more, all I get is 'I'm hungry, I;m thirsty, wipe my bum'!!!!

Check out the ebay board as there is loads of info there that will be useful in selling on ebay and check out the ebay forums too..... all useful insider info!! I host my pics on imageshack, and then using the HTML code, add that into the listing text and viola, the pics are there at no extra cost!!!

Deq - I like MODERN MEDIA.....ORIGINAL CLASSICS. Similar to your ideas but I think it reads a bit better....

Nixinixi - if your hearts not in it then cash in and move on..... try something else....

cake - sorry for your loss..... I hope you feel better soon...

Paulabear - I like Talitha's shop/store..... its a nice name! And fairly generic so it doesn't matter what you make/sell!

Money - hope the clear out is going okay!!

I am NOT working today as we are taking the kids out to (hopefully) burn off some energy! Then its baking (lots) for the cake sale for Haiti at school tomorrow afternoon and cooking dinner..... thats my whole day sorted!

I have managed to list 5 bundles of clothes on TL ready to upload tonight so hopefully a few more pennies in the kitty by the end of the week... With all the boxes and boxes of clothes lying around I really ought to get on top of that this week

Hales - my commitment for this week is to get shot of all old kids clothes.... wish me luck there are hundreds and hundreds of items...

The greenhouses are going up in a couple of weeks so I can start sowing seeds ready for carboot in april..... I can't wait to get out in the garden!

Truley - I can't think of a name for you at the moment but I will have a ponder whilst out with the kids.... in the mean time try this.....
http://www.rhymer.com/naming.html there are lots more out there but his is the first one I found!

    have good day!!

I had a sneaking suspicion! ;) I love it though, and I think you've got the tone just right, it reads like I would expect the character to relate the story.

I went through all my cd's last night on musicmagpie, and seems a lot of cd's for £15, but seriously, half of them I didn't even remember I had! Quick tip if you're using them - the odd couple that were offered a good deal more than the standard 30p they offer for dross, I did a quick check on eBay and Amazon and found I could sell them for higher than I was being offered, and by the looks of things fairly easily. So as soon as you get offered anything over £1, check it out!

Ok, I got too involved in the crochet and haven't done my eBay listings.... I really should get that done NOW because that's the only thing that's going to bring in any money in the next week *fingers crossed*. I am going this time .... honestly! :D

Nixi - can't wait to hear what happens with your shoes! Be sure to let us all know!
