I'm another with hopeless ebay sales today.... maybe it's the time of year.

I think I will stop listing for a month then start again. What does everyone think?

Been lurking in this thread, almost voyeuristically...dirty boy.

Anyway! I've been thinking about doing a regular car boot with my brother in law and have came to the conclusion that a food stall would go down quite well. I've looked into end of line/promotion stock but I can't actually find anywhere that actually specialises in it. Does anyone know the names of any cash and carry types or warehouses that deal with these kind of items?

Also considering going down the purse/wallet route but sourcing them for a reasonable price to then sell on is proving to be reasonably tricky!

Anywhow, any advice given is greatly appreciated! Thanks chaps:)

approved foods sell out of date or short dated stuff. Very cheap and I know people on this site use them

Moneymabel - you can block non-UK buyers in your Seller Preferences on Ebay - I had this and discovered the hard way that it's not enough to say "UK buyers only" - one stroppy Australian buyer pointed that out to me!:rotfl:

Daisy - think you are right, they aren't dirty enough lol! Wondering about pulling them as don't really want to sell them for 99p if I can increase there value by covering them in mud and relisting lol!

What does anyone think? I mean can you stop a listing that has less than 2 hours left, but has no bids?

I say pull them, you can use the 'error in your listing' reason and then once you've hacked them up running round the garden or something put them back on. Incredibly the mankiest, dirtiest looking shoes seem to get the highest price. I've added a couple to my watch list and some of them have gone between 10.00-15.00m much better than your 99p. On the flipside, you could target the normal market and take out the well worn bit and you may make more but I agree, it's definitely not worth letting them go for 99p.

I'm not seeing any differences in my auction results on Ebay at the mo - although this time of the year I certainly expected to! I suppose it's all down to what you're selling and who is browsing Ebay - in other words a bit random!

I'm going to have to use this one in future. I have a pair of clean, hardly worn shoes listed (not for the fetish market) and at the minute the winning bidder is in Brazil ?!!!!!!!! I'm certainly not shipping them there without using international signed for !!!
