I'm so sorry to hear this, big hugs xxx I hope you and oh manage to still do dinner and laugh and cry over the good times you've shared. Thinking of you all xxx
Will pm Hales with my commitments. Dooyoo was a bit of a washout for me this week as I was side-tracked by ebay but I've made some product suggestions so hopefully will be able to write about those next week. Have 3 items finishing on ebay today and they all have bids against them. Listed some more items yesterday and I've decided to tackle one box at a time in the garage and ebay, carboot and charity it's contents ... I've not looked at them in 5 years so I guess I don't need them.
I found a huge box of Action Men yesterday whilst in the Garage but they don't seem to sell that well on ebay, wondering if I may be better off carbooting them ?

Need some help with a tagline for my website, it will sell self help classic books, ie think and grow rich, how a man thinketh etc..... I have a domain name but need a tag line for the header etc... but they will be in pdf, audio and video format. (domain name is Self Help Classics Collection, nothing there yet!)
My thoughts are:-
Original Classics - Modern Media
Original Classics recreated on Modern Media
to show that they are old books in a new format but cant decide!Sell £1000 in 2016 - £12.48/£1000

right after some advice from you lovely people!!
A few years ago I tried having my own wedding stationery business....actually put alot of money and affort into it but I have never quite had my heart in it and made it work.
I have just emptied two big boxes of stock which I naively brought....lots of envelopes, blank cards and inserts of varying sizes.
I was thinking about ebaying it all....not sure whether to do job lots or split into packs for those wanting to make their own stationery...eg. 10 envelopes, card blanks and inserts etc....so opinions there
Or a little part of me wonders if I should try again....not sure I can face all the effort into creating new designs....I only had about three designs out of about 15 that actually sold, so could rehash those....one of them was a magnetic invitation! I got absolutely no response from the last wedding fayre I did....about 3 years ago now!! So what do you think...... do I say tried it done it got the t-shirt or what?
I know you can't tell me what to do...but my business opportunties are:
1) rehash wedding stationery and try again
2) offer marketing/pr/promotional services to small local businesses (but at mo only have 2 hours a day without children....and sell everythign I can on ebay!)
AAAAARG - decisions!
AND worse as yet I have had NO bids on my shoes and there is only 7 hours left of a 7 days auction so so far I have not earnt a penny in FebruaryDid have another message today from a new person though....this one just asked if I would dispatch dirty and sweaty, of course I said yes....eeew!

Sorry to hear your news cakes - sending you a hug & bit off strength to get through the next few weeks. I am sure your uncle in law will still be appreciating your roasts.......just from somewhere else xxx
Truly - no good at names but your idea sounds fab!! Sorry if these are corny or not available bit how about Sweets of Occassion, Sweet Dreams, Sweetie Pie, Chirpy Chirpy Sweet Sweet.......(ok....getting more random now so better stop lol!!!).
I have been pretty much lurking for weeks and not posted much. Had a horrible virus that wiped me out for weeks, but much better now. Have spent about £500 () on stock to sell on via EBay and have started listing. Scared myself splashing out but figured at the very worst will get my money back.
Anyhow - can anyone point me in the right direction to get help with how to get large pictures in the middle of my actual text right up / item description on EBay?
Will not be having a productive day in the challenge sense as my best friend is up from Cornwall :T - so will be having a good natter (plus my 4yr old & 1 yr old seem to be saying "mummy" every 5.98 seconds........ I AM CHANGING MY NAME!! :rotfl:)
HAVE A GOOD DAY EV1 !!0 -

Daisy, if they're from the 1970's/early '80s they do quite well, but more recent than that, I reckon car booting is best.

Lol re: shoes Nixi............hope you get plenty of last minute bids!! You probably do know the answer to your stationary question deep down. I suppose the key thing will be how much you WANT to do it. If you find it a huge drag and your heart is not in it it will be tough. If you enjoy doing it though - I would say go for it!! Perhaps it may be easier to reduce the number of designs you offer to make it easier to start with to see how it goes? Maybe no more than 5?
I was at a wedding fayre last week and saw a fab stationary idea for weddings. The actual invite was on a simple but elegantly crafted envelope with metalic fastening. The inside of the envelope was pre printed RSVP card, venue direction card & could also include gift list information on another card. It was getting a fair bit of interest as was "different" to other stuff out there.
I guess I am getting to why not give it a go, test the water a little - but only if you enjoy making them. You never know where it may lead..............and if it doesn't work out then ? EBay the stock that you have in various sized batches.
Good luck with it xxx0
