Saucey - just a thought, have you checked the delivery address is right? I know that's obvious and don't want to patronise, only i've recently purchased something and i think it may have been sent to a previously listed address. You may not be as dim as me lolJust £10,852.28p to go...
Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";

Will post my total tomorrow, think it's only about £20 more than my current one and I want to buy more stock for car boots in the Summer so it will go down again!
Good idea about focusing on something every month, seems to have worked with ebay this month :T
My commitments this weekare: put more stuff on ebay and join BB.Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

I think focus is a good think but maybe over say a fortnight then change to next focus, I seem to get bored with repetitivness I need variability to keep my attention span.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

MMTWGR, it wasn't your explanation, it just suddenly dawned on me that some people are feeling a bit demotivated and looking for inspiration and although that's what I meant in my post, perhaps others may see it as the opposite.
Anyway, all's well in the world, our intentions are all good! Group hug?0 -

I just wanted to say your success or post does not make me feel demotivated or bad in any way!! Quite the opposite really **that would be the salesperson in me** I do however find it all fascinating and I can only say well done!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. Also, I was thinking about a monthly focus. My proposal would be to divide into sub groups. So pick one of 4 options for example 1) matched betting 2) surveys and daily clicks 3) bingo 4) blogging. You pick one of these things and go hell for leather in February to learn all about it and give it a go and get better at it. Then March you choose something else, April something else etc.. until you have done all you wanted to do. So by beginning of June in theory you would be listing on ebay ( January focus) doing matched betting, surveys, blogging and bingo and it would all seem like second nature by then.
Thoughts welcome - I dont take offense easily
An update on my commitments:-
List 5 things on ebay/amazon/play - done (7 things on ebay!)
Place matched bet - wimped out (maybe an idea for February!)
Plan for website etc.. - about 50% of the way there
So not too bad, like the idea of the monthly focus (I will try for matched betting) and the commitment board on a weekly/bi weeky basisSell £1000 in 2016 - £12.48/£1000
Earn £2016 in 2016 - £0.00/£10000 -

So I am thinking that perhaps it isnt a huge issue for people to compare totals. I will reevaluate that if more people PM - maybe people read during working hours?

Hey - love the idea of totals, not done mine because not finalised it yet....not very good though lol! Will let you have it tomorrow.
I also think the commitment board would be really useful, it will certainly help me keep on track, I am very easily distracted by life, ...and for this weekend I have completed my tasks woohoo!:j
Quite like the monthly focus too..... my initial reaction was 'why?' but the more I think about it the more it makes alot of sense!
My only other thought was if you are the one co-ordinating all of this do you have the time? Just you have a target to meet and life to live too.....
Thank you for ideas and effort, your support is fantastic :beer:Life is a work in progress0 -
another tenner on ebay and i thought i would have nothing more this month then two go and sell - will sort out for posting tomorrow tho. i am selling everything i dont want, tshirts, jackets, daughters tshirts seemed to do well, makeup, so cant really give any tips on specific things. my total has been made by making cakes, taking a little cleaning job, got £100 gift (normally would have spent this without thinking), ebay, £20 on the bingo, so sorry cant give you any ideas.
commitment board is a great idea even although i didnt finish everything i had commited to, still got some ironing and havent listed anything new on ebay howeve my house is now a bit tidier and cleaner! so i'll postpone for 24 hours and hopefully by this time tomorrow i can be smug, clean tidy and raring to go for Feb.

What do you do in your day job?
What are your skills?
What do you think are the most profitable skills ( if you had the pick of all jobs and contacts)?
What are your hobbies?
How much time do you have available?
Do you have any websites?
Do you want to expand on existing things or go in a totally different direction?
Is there anything about your American connection that you could utilise to your favour in the UK? I'm thinking a Sex in the City style blog ? I think an American up north could be quite a hilarious blog opportunity?
Are you creative? Or practical? Or wordy? Or tactile?
I think you may need to stress to people on here who may be helping you that you need an income source as well as extra cash for this challenge, or is that an unfair assessment? Some people are in full time jobs and need extra, some are SAHM and can do the challenge with financial support from family, some are single parents and need the whole package to survive.VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID
