I went with Argos platinum cause its life cover etc blah blah £65 excess, 7k a year. The other 2 policys they do aren't really worth it to save a quid.
I'm almost £13 a month for my 2, Archie is higher because A) Hes a boy and
He's a douche, no lol, because hes young.
My female cat is 2, but she was about £6 a month. So not dear!
I think we're going to say if they mention it that its the estate agents fault, cos we got them after we'd signed everything, and then we spoke to them and they said it was fine, and its not our fault they didnt check with the landlady
:rotfl: its almost true, we did get one of them in the gap between signing the paperwork and actually moving in!!
:rotfl: I didnt know that! :rotfl:Em - Susan is a qualified teacher so I'm guessing she'll be ok to teach Alice

Oh, got watching OBEM with Rhys (was telling him all about his birth and first hours!
) then he fell asleep on me, and mega slobbed all over my shoulder, ick! _pale_
I asked OH when he was going to fix the wardrobe - he didn't know it was broken, the carpet fitter did it when he was shifting it - and he went off to do that. He came back to tell me it was done, so I asked when he was going to move it back into place so he did that. Then I asked what he wanted for tea, he's not hungry but I am so he's gone to get me a Maccys.... ahhhh, that's better!
Now, if he'd just put the cot together tonight, I can get on with making it up with sheets etc tomorrow
Did I mention Rhys is 13lb now? Was hoping he'd be more than that (it's only a 8oz gain in three weeks) but hey ho..

Go Rhysy! You will be as big as Benjamina before you know it

Have tried to read back but my head / heart / eyes are failing me
Did manage to quote a few posts thoughI've been back to the doctors today and saw a nicer doctor than last time. He agreed I've not got depression and that it's the physical symptoms causing me to feel down, rather than depression causing the symptoms. He's going to run some blood tests and wants one of them to be fasting. I have to go back next Wednesday morning for those, and I managed to get an 8.30am appointment so I'll not have to starve for too long.
While I was out, Craig left Charlotte watching Show Me Show Me on the iplayer on my PC while he nipped out the back for a fag. Came back in and she had smeared vaseline all over my calculator. I came back in and was greeted with her telling me "it's naughty to put vaseline on calculators" :rotfl:
Becles - SO glad you seem to be getting somewhere.
Gotta love Charlotte
No. I made sure I made a point of asking questions I knew she wouldn't know the answer to - and made sure I did know.
You know, sometimes I think you ARE me!! A teacher once threw a board rubber at me. It didn't hit but it was in my direction and aimed 'at' me because I was talking (as usual!). I jumped up, stormed out of the class and straight to the headmasters office where I reported what had happened, demanded that my mother be called and informed the headmaster that I would not be going into that classroom until I and my parents had received an official apology from the teacher. I then proceeded to put a chair outside the teachers classroom and sit there (for a few lessons that week) until the teacher called my parents in and apologised to us all.
Then I went back to class.
Thing is, I was genuinely a good kid, just (not being patronising) a lot brighter than my classmates at that school. I was the only person in the school (including the year before me and the year after me) to achieve an A at GCSE, and I got 5...which was apparently way below my potential but I don't find it held me back
What I guess I didn't realise at the time was that all my gossiping (because I had finished the work at breakneck pace) was hindering the other kids.
DKAM - glad things seem a bit better today. Remember we are here next time you need a moan
and for good news too of course! Glad A enjoyed his first day at school xx please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman
