Incidentally, I really fancied home educating Aimee when she was younger but in my situation didn't feel very supported... In hindsight though, I'm a lot like buttons in that she drives me mad when I'm helping her with her homework, so I don't know how I'd have been as her full time teacher!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Much easier than doing it with another 29 children the same age to keep under control, organise and teach.
True, but then all the children would be around the same age, and capable of copying or listening too instructions. Having to stop mid sentence to remove a toddler from bin scavenging (oooh biscuit wrapper!) or to go change a dirty nappy, is kinda different.
Plus most classes have assistants too, and (this isn't a dig or anything) I don't see how your child could be very sociable, when they are getting 1 on 1 attention all the time, where as in school, they learn the world doesn't revolve around them, plus they have structured play with friends they make etc.
I hated school, but I know at the end of the day, Keira will do much better there than at home with me. I'm just here to talk about foofs, elephant wllys and blood :rotfl:0 -
 Do you want us to set fire to her for you? I do think sometimes teachers underestimate the influence negative things they say can have on pupils.Krystaltips wrote: »Devious... I wonder why she didn't like you...
I don't know why she didn't like me at first... I was quiet and unassuming till she said she didn't like me.
She was one of those people who just shouldn't have been a teacher. She reeked of always wanting to be one of the popular kids in school even as a teacher who should be above that.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Ben likes 'Jaws'.
Jaws is a cool movie. She used to watch Tremors ( awesome film) with OH (which I didnt mind, its not even scary, its worms with growth hormones) but I put a stop too it when she jumped on the sofa, put her fingers in a V sign and shouted "F*%$ YEAH" (copying the dude from it)
I was like :eek::eek::eek:
My fault that though, whoops! She hasn't repeated it though, because I told her it was a naughty bad word. When we are out and about and she hears someone swear, she shouts out "Hey that's not nice, supernanny thinks your a bad kid"
Even though the person is about 60!!0 -
My sister is a teacher... I wouldn't have picked that kind of proffession for her... I hope she doesn't psychologically damage any children... Maybe she's really good... I just can't picture it?
The lad I used to babysit loved Tremors lol... Aimee would be scared of something like that... She didn't watch little shop of horrors for about a year because we told her it was about a plant that eats people... She doesn't like Roald Dahls Witches either....
Anyway, hubby's back... Gonna make him work for his supper shifting furniture in the bedroom... Just as soon as I can drag him off Lips on the Xbox...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Button.. Mine got worse at school.. they didn't get 1-2-1 so would pi$$ about until they did.. then the teachers moaned at me.. now I'd have just slapped them.. I'd make the worlds worst teacher.. I really dislike other peoples children and amnot afraid to let them know. At least home educating I could poke them if they weren't working.. and I'd happily change a nappy on the table next to the maths worksheet lol...

Bless her Krystal. How old is Aimee now? Maybe Caitlin will love scary things, just imagine her terrorising Aimee at nights with creepy storys!
That's the same with OH's sister. She is a big weirdo at any rate, but she went to uni when younger and did 4 years of interior design and other art fuddy duddy stuff, then she came home and worked in Ortak.
then all of a sudden she wanted to be a teacher. TBH we all think she chose that as she was nearing 30 and had no career.
She gets on Keira's nerves when she visits for a day, feel sorry for those kids, especially the dirty one because she probably wrinkles her nose really obviously in the poor childs direction.
She's oddsbodskins. Does Aimee like harry potter? Or is that too dark for her too?
Keira is a right weirdo though, if you are channel skipping she screams for you too stop if it looks scary. She just doesnt care!!0 -

Well that' fair enough if they don't get on in a school or maybe they just had really shiote teachers :rotfl: I used to p!ss around in all my classes at secondary school, I was a baaaaad kid though.
I am so embarrassed but one time I shot a tomato rose off the Home economics teacher because she told everyone in the class I was poor because I hadn't paid the cooking money in X weeks.
I was really pleased with my tomato rose aswell. Thing is, she was the one who got a bollocking for insulting me in front of everyone. Silly bint.
I saw her at Lidls a few month back with her marks and sparks carriers, must keep up appearences!
Yeah, the nursery assistant in Keira's nursery is just LOVELY, she loves being around kids and told me her kids wont have any kids (I think gay + lesbian) and she is happy with the kids she looks after. She honestly looks like an angel, I wish I had her patience cause there is some right boogeys in Keira's class, 1 kid peed on the dolls house  If that was me I'd of been like
