hmmm, walkers .. if used for a short amount of time each day (ie not the entire time baby is awake !!) then I personally see no harm in them at all !! Jasmine loved hers and was walking very well on her own by the time she was 1 perfectly and has no problems at all !!
We arent allowed to use one with Dylan as his feet are turned out and his toes curl, so they think it would be a hindrance to him, but I can understand that !

as with most things the risks are common sense IMO I have a walker but it's kept at MILs neither of the boys are/were in it for more than an hour per week (and reaching a hour would be rare)
I knew a girl that walked funny because her mum left her in the walker loads, that is poor parental judgement not the walker's fault

What does everyone else think about baby walkers?

I don't like them. When a baby learns to walk pulling themselves up and experimenting, their feet are flat on the floor and their weight is in the correct place. When they are in the baby walker, their weight is supported by their bum and they can walk on tip toe or the sides of their feet. I just didn't see how that was beneficial.

Frozen veg is just as good, if not better than fresh. With fresh veg, nutrients are lost in the process of farm, to shop, to home. With frozen the nutrients are frozen with the veg, so less is lost before you cook it.

Well Keira was crawling at 7months, cruising at 8 months and walking at 9months. She used a babywalker, you just have to lower it so they aren't on tip toes, and their feet are flat.

Does that mean that Keira should of been walking at 7months because it stunted her development? :rotfl:

I hate those stupid links, hence why I never go on baby websites, it's full of nonsense. Useless statistics that have no evidence to back it up.

he is on a special milk and his breath smells really bad, we were thinking it could be a side affect. the milk is man made as he is allergic to milk proteins and other things? just thought id ask here incase it was soemthing we hadnt thought of? dont think its from a toy etc as she has looked and there doesnt seem to be anything?

thanks she has HV coming back out this week and ill get her to check, i thought thrush was white lol!
