Phew. I just have no idea what would be "normal" as I have no memory of my mum ever saying it.
Aww :( at not remembering if your mum said she loves you :(
My Mum doesn't ever remember being hugged by her parents :( Her domino glueing point is showing love, I was hugged to death growing up and Christopher & Edgar are too :D I think as long as you are saying/doing it genuinely (which I'm sure you are!) it never losing meaning.

I get all fuzzy inside now that Chris has grasped what it is to love and comes up randomly to hug me and tell me he loves me :A

Ok lovely, thanks for that. Glad you can get a liner too.

Is it easier for you to arrange the collection rather than me arrange it then you send me the money? £16 seems quite reasonable. I can be in any time too.
Sure, I'll do that. :A If I clear some space in my inbox we can talk further! :)

Do any of the Supermarkets sell clothes that you can order to be delivered with your shopping?

Benjamin really needs some new vests :o but I don't have time to go shopping - his 9-12 month ones look like scoop neck because they are stretched so tight. Full on baby camel toe!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I was thinking that about Ethans 0-3 vests this morning, that they look scoop necked vests!

BM- sorry you're feeling so down about whats happened with your mum, I am totally rubbish with words so don't have anything useful to say so have a virtual hug instead :grouphug: bit dodgy looking but u get the gist. xx
love my little man he is amazing :j
  • For some reason I can only multiquote 1 person today??

My mum and dad never tell me they love me, but deep down I know they do! They are not big huggers and kissers either.

I am the exact opposite and take time to tell my friends and hubby that I love them and I am a big kisser as everybody knows :D

Benjamin already has a special reaction to me when I tell him I love him - kind of a crinkly nosed grin - and sometimes he races across the room with a big open mouth to give me a kiss for no reason - gotta love that!!

It's never too early IMHO. Benjamin started to show affection a few months ago (like Fergie and his forehead touching!)

Bizarrely I feel really wierd when hubbys family say that they love me :o I am happy with hugging and kissing them but just can't seem to tell them I love them? Maybe because I haven't 'chosen' them IYSWIM :o

Oh effing eff, I went to have a bath and left my ebay alone, came back and someone's sniped me!!!

I wanted to ask something but have forgotten what it was.

Edit: I know that my mother must have told me she loved me - but I can't remember her ever saying it. She does hug me, but since I moved out only when we first meet and when we leave. But with my mother, the domino point I'm trying to keep in mind is that when Molly has sibling/s I don't want her ever to feel like there's a favourite.

Oh I remember that - when I was 22 I had a (minor) car crash and when my mum turned up, the police officers said, "Give her a hug" so she did. Apparently when I was very small I used to crawl away when she tried to give me cuddles - I think she still holds it against me.

It's hard to tell before they can talk. I'm sure Alice understands now (age 2 3/4) and has done for a while but I don't think I could say a definite age.
