What Fitzio said, actually. If I was in that position I'd suggest that if it happened again I'd be packing his stuff while he was at work and he could enjoy uninterrupted sleep at his mother's while figuring out that being a grown up and a father entails a loss of the stuff we were used to before.

I found it hard when OH first came home from the hospital because as far as he was concerned he was coming back into an established routine, not realising that the routine had changed because Molly was a month older and bigger and needed less sleep and more interaction. And even though I spent a lot of time fuming for various reasons I knew he was trying his best and that was ok. It doesn't seem like your OH is, he seems very excited to be living with his brother and it's like playtime and somehow you've taken over the mummy role for everyone so he can behave like the older brother. Not ok.

To be fair, I think sometimes we rant about the bad bits about our OHs and don't bother telling people about the good bits. I think having BIL there has made Glams life harder than it needs to be (if ANYBODY suggested moving in with us whilst we had a small baby they would be told where to go in no uncertain terms!!). And I think having BIL there may have made it seem even more like Mr Glam can still be a kid.


A good talking to is def the way forwards Glam. I would approach the subject of BIL staying too. It has been long enough for him to find his feet. Once you go back to work will you be expected to work, look after Jack, OH and BIL?? Sounds like a recipe for a very unhappy mummy if you ask me. xx

Did anyone see them make the fish pie on TM last week? I'm going to try and do it later - sorry for a daft question but how do you wilt spinach? Do you just boil it for a few seconds/minute? Never had spinach before!

PP I just throw carefully washed spinach into a frying pan and put some heat under it till you can see it start wilting. No boiling!! No steaming!!

Weezl marrowfat peas are just marrowfat peas in the US

Edit: try also maro, because that's the Japanese name and apparently there's some usage of both names. Are you looking for nutritional information?
