sarah joanne when you're next on, a quick question, would this liner fit your pool?

Also would you mind letting me know the dimensions or posting a linkie to where you got it from?

    Many many thanks :)

....and Glam, a quick question: also anyone who stockpiled food/batch cooked before baby came:

Do people think try to have loads of staple things bread/milk in the freezer plus cake for visitors, or is it more priority to have main meals made and frozen in the freezer.

    TIA :)

  • Morning all.

Weezl that list looks good to me. Depending on how much warning you get, you could always put some finger food together between contractions - something to keep you busy!

And re bulk cooking, if you are expecting visitors then get them to bring you bread milk and cake!

Lazy children, no flippen chance. My friend turned up today and couldn't believe for the 2nd time this week she witnessed my 6yr old son helping clean the house, at his request!
Alice always wants to clean the kitchen floor. She always does the same bit though.

Tara, I'm so upset for those women. I wish something could be done :( Are they managing to stay locally or do they have to leave their babies and go home?
I'm apalled by the way some hospitals apparently treat mothers of ill babies. On Tara's thread one lady said that two years ago when it was uncertain whether her five day old baby would live through the night she had to sleep on a tiled floor or go home because there were no beds available for her. (Obviously she chose the floor.)

 only 1 pair how do you cope? :rotfl:I'm terrible, there is a reason I don't drink/smoke etc I have no self control, I'd be dead within a year if I did!
I only have one pair of trainers too - I've had them since 1999 and they belonged to one of my brothers who grew through my size too quickly to wear them out. I do have three pairs of shoes though (one current pair, one lace up pair for when it's wet/snowy and one old pair) and two pairs of sandals (one black and a white pair I bought for getting married).

I'd say meals ready made. It's easier to get people to bring bread/milk than to get them to cook you dinner.

  • Susan she is welcome to come do my kitchen floor if she wants. That is on my list for today! Izzy likes "cleaning" things - I always have to give her a j-cloth to play with or she tries to nick the one I'm using (I don't want her to nick mine with anti-bac spray or whatever on it, but she can have a clean one :) )

Charlotte likes cleaning too. She's got a toy hoover and mop and I give her cloths and she "helps".
Here I go again on my own....

Alice has her own little spray bottle with just water in. (Although I rarely use anything stronger than washing up liquid and vinegar anyway.)
