I can't say I've ever checked out the size of the shop staff before buying food anywhere. Do people really do that?
I must admit I do this when buying clothes from a larger persons clothes shop. I feel more comfortable if the sales assistant is bigger rather than some skinny minnie.
My DH also says never trust a skinny chef!

Lots of chefs end up bulimic - or start out that way.

My daughter seems to hate the particular pants I'm wearing. Whenever I put them on she throws up on them.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Sugar I like it when you put your nerd hat on

My son took aversion to my new coat and spewed up spectacularly down it and also on my jeans so when I wiped them it looked like I'd wet myself
Now what to have for tea? DH is having Philli stuffed chicken breasts with Garlic Bread? I was meant to have Vege Burgers but I don't want them? I know it's pancake day, but i'm trying to be good and I just don't do savoury pancakes it's all about the sweet :cool:Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
I never thought of that. I wonder whether thin people are more likely to or not? I'm fairly thin but because growing up I was thin enough for people to be nasty to me about it and ate so much that people called me greedy I'm well aware that it is not nice to be judged on what you eat or your size and that your size is not necessarily connected to how much you eat so I wouldn't judge someone based on their size or cake purchasing habits. I may not be a representative sample though.feelinggood wrote: »I find I'm more cofortable buying from large people, feel they are less likely to judge me for buying my body weight in cakes
Did I ever mention the time I went into Evans?. Nobody ever told me it was larger sizes so one day when I was passing it and noticed a sale rack I went in to check it out. As I browsed the sale rack all I could find was at least a size 20 and I suddenly realised that maybe it was a larger size shop. I felt very embarrassed and conspicuous and sidled out hoping nobody had noticed. When I told other people I found out that everyone else except for me knew.I must admit I do this when buying clothes from a larger persons clothes shop. Pancake with cheese and [STRIKE]jam[/STRIKE] sweet chutney and veg on the side? Sweet, savoury, veggie and healthy. Nomnomnom.
Edit: Susan, the same thing happened to me in Evans, only the shop assistant came over and sneered at me telling me I wasn't the sort of customer they catered for. I assumed they meant young and got really confused and indignant before noticing that I'd not seen anything under a size 16 and sidling out embarrassed.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Sami, how did the haircut go? Feeling lighter?

For the record, a c-section would have been my worst nightmare - before I had one!
You know I'm not good with needles, just like you, dear twin!

I have been sort of brainwashed into thinking fat = gross so I would be a little put off being served food by a larger person
They'd have to be pretty massive and a bit sweaty or something to make me not buy it though
I loves my grub
