Poor Tia :( It is good that you recognise patterns from before. Do you remember what things helped you cope?

Just taking a holdof things of sorting stuff out. The hardest thing is getting off my bum and actually starting somewhere, knowing it will get worse before it gets better and just doing it (by that I mean cleaning the house). I'm not a direct link to my emotions type so actuall keeping productive helps the cogs turn away on their own. Need to have a sit down with DH and ask him not to say 'go to the doctor then', I need him to help out more. I'm not depressed as such, just frustrated and stressed and looking after 3 children doesn't give much room for relaxing. Nor do I get any help with the kids from anyone, atleast not in any way that I can relax. They can go away to stay over but it is a lot of hard work to get it done and doesn't really help. Need to make more of an effort to spend time with DH as a wife though.

  • Hi all,

I've turned the nursery nurse job down, the hours and shifts were varying week to week and you weren't told about next weeks shifts til the wed/thurs before!

Elle: This is the housing one I've applied for: http://jobseekers.direct.gov.uk/detailjob.aspx?sessionid=2c761c08-e1f1-4d38-bf5b-58ce46c0dfe5&pid=2&j=GTT/24834

Rocky road is chilling in the fridge. This is a stupid question but how long could RR last for? Like best before not how long before DH and I eat it!!

I feel like this :o, did last time too. I think it's because you're so busy that it builds up over time. Having another baby is enough to take away the last tiny bit of 'you' time that you had, at least that's my conclusion! :A Don't do what I did with Ben and leave it until he was a year old to get help! XXXXXXXXX

Edit, sorry about the job Claire!
Too many children, too little time!!!

thought it might be cos we only bath him once a week....:o

Once the wardrobe thing goes up I'll sort through it all and ebay some stuff.

Will you let me know your ebay ID? Molly's only just growing out of 3-6 month stuff and since Amber's a long one there's sure to be stuff that fits my short one. ((hugs)), I hope your DH will start doing more to support you.

anyone any ideas on how i can get K to like bath time.

I get in with Molly and she tolerates it now, although liking would be far too strong a word.

She's learned to shuffle her bouncy chair around by violently throwing herself backwards and forwards. It's astonishing.

Edit: Claire, I don't blame you. Shifting schedules are ok for people who don't have commitments, but who gets to be a responsible adult without any?!

Only thinking of making some for the weekend for Reece's christening. We're going to Essex on Friday and his christening is Sunday so wondering if it'll last (or in fairness if it'll survive that long!!)

everytime we give him a bath lately he cries from when he's put in the water till we take him out. thought it might be the water in his eyes when i wash/wet his hair but today i didnt get any on his face and he still cried. just getting a little stressed about it now....
Alice had a phase of hating the bath (I think it started around 21/21 months ish) and screaming hysterically as soon as we tried to put her in it. We switched to flannel washes for a while rather than actual baths. After a while (maybe a month) when we thought she might have forgotten, we tried putting her in the bath again but not actually washing her in the bath and she was fine. We managed to establish it was hair washing she objected to so just did that with a damp flannel for a while (but trying every so often to get her head actually wet) and eventually discovered that it was getting her ears in the water that she didn't like so now we just get her to cover her ears when we wash her hair. Obviously a lot of that wouldn't apply to Kian (e.g. you couldn't train him to cover his ears at this age) but hopefully something might be useful.
