Mookie, did you know that breastfeeding a baby on take off is the best way to stop ears popping...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Krystal - thank you for the tips for dropping the morning feeds, thing is Katie just climbs into bed with us and latches on, so I think I'll have to start wearing a top to bed and lying away from her, and letting DH deal with the upset.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Oh my - now that complicates things...we are hoping to go away at the end of March, probably a Canary Isle for some sun, and I may be better still feeding when we go there...although I can't keep going forever 'just in case'
I purposefully seperated giving up from me going back to work because I didn't want to double the separation and make Benjamin feel abandoned (projecting my feelings onto him much!!!)...which led into me carrying on when I went up to 5 days and then carrying on because I knew hubby was going into hospital.
We don't BF during the day at all now. Benjamin will go without milk rather than BF (on both our parts I think, he doesn't ask for it) and he rarely feeds for longer than 10 mins.
If I find any 'advice' or 'support' I will let you know xx
I like those too Becles but they are a little too sparkly for me:oplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

I was thinking that too. Obv Benjamin doesn't just climb in but he pretty much helps himself when we are in bed so I need to make sure I am wearing a top when I bring him in...I guess having a drink and snack on hand might help too?
One of my RL mummy friends gave up when her daughter was about 15 months or so and she said that she doesn't think her daughter (now 21 months) remembers that she was ever BF. And that made me feel really sad *shrugs shoulders*
What an emotional minefield.
Sorry to dominate the thread with BF talk again but as Mooki says, it begins to weigh heavily on your mind.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
I don't think Katie will remember either as I can't remember much from when I was 2/3 years old.
Sorry from me too, I have no one else to discuss this with, my mum thinks I should have stopped long before now.Proud to be dealing with my debts
