Sarah - hello hun!!!! Welcome Alfie - what a gorgeous little boy :)
Thanks for your PM the other day - I wasn't stalking you honest! :o

    I know you weren't!!

Thanks everyone for all the congrats and comments about Alfie :A

I've had such a good night with him after a (very) hard night last night.

Think he might have been too cold last night bless him. Got him swaddled now and a little hat on- made a big difference!

    Anyway... back to bed!

    Morning all x

Calendar Girls was brilliant last night. Had a real good laugh.

Although I'm not speaking to DH this morning, but that's a whole other story :rotfl:

So at least it's Friday, thank goodness, feel like it's took forever to get here and I only work 4 days a week?

Hope everyone is OK? ((Hugs)) if you need them or my shoulders here if you needs to lean on me, I'll listen :D xx

sorry I missed you Sami :(

Hope Ed was ok and you both settled back off to sleep ok....:)

Becles if you come on, I just wanted to say hugs to you and hope that things with the uni decision are going OK, I've been thinking of you. I know from my work how huge it is for a student to feel like they have to give up their course at any point, and I really feel for you.

Much love and *strength vibes* to Tara, Poppie and DD

  • Morning all. DH set his alarm clock for later when he came back to bed with Izzy this morning (he got up with her for the first time ever!) It hasn't gone off yet, and we would normally be taking him to the bus by now. I assume he is getting a later one than normal today!

    PS
SJ I've congratulated you on the recipe testing thread but I'd like to do it here too. He is lovely, and you, young miss, look absolutely amazing and have pinged back to a beautiful shape very quickly!

Been talking to the uni support team and one of my tutors. I can't have any extensions on the 30 point course I started in November as there is no extension allowed on the last assignment or the final exam. I can't delay the two resit exams either.

However if I get really stuck, I can delay the assignments on the course that has just started, then play catch up in April when I've got the other exams out of the way. That's the tutor I've been speaking to and he's happy to do that, and he's going to talk to me more at tutorial tomorrow.

Gave Mam a list of key dates and she understands my workload and said she will have the bairns as much as she can. Gave Craig a list too, but he just went "oh ok" and didn't discuss it.

Will see how I can manage and try and get it done. It would be a shame if I had to give up or delay things as I want to finish in Oct. Results would be in mid-Dec and my Mam's 60th is on the 19th and I'd really like to annouce passing by signing my name with BA Hons after it in her birthday card. That thought has kept me going for a long time.
Here I go again on my own....
