Oh Becles, I didn't realise how close you are to the end - please don't give up now. Just one more big push and with a bit of support you can do it. I wish I was closer so I could help you with stuff :(

Would you be able to tell your OH specific things he can do around those dates? "So I gave you that list of key dates, well it would help me a lot if you'd put the kids to bed the week before so I can get the work done a little bit faster and then we can all [do this important fun family thing] as well"?

Wow Becles you are soooo close, I am glad you are getting some advice and help with completing it. Keep slogging away and you will get there just think of the long break you can have afterwards:D

OMG I was so exhausted last night, I signed off from here and went straight to bed I even forgot to take my socks off, just lay down in bed and that's it.....I don't remember a thing else! I must have pretty much passed out:eek:

  • Morning!

Becles- that sounds positive about your course. Your tutor sounds really supportive which makes such a difference. Which course is it that you're doing?

    Mel- yay for good sleeps.

Weezly- does your 4am abscence mean a better sleep last night?

Having a lovely lazy morning today so Henry and I are catching up with some Come Dine With Me on Sky+

Another question, not sure where to put it on the forum (so let me know if there is a better place to put it), where can I get some simple slow cooker recipes? I was thinking it might be easier for me, to prepare stuff earlier as T generally is hungry 4/5 o clock so I can't leave things boiling just in case.
There are loads of slow cooker recipes on the oldstyle board - otherwise use normal recipes but remember that a slow cooker needs less cooking sauce as nothing evaporates!

    Morning all,

Big hugs to Becles, I really hope you get the support you deserve

I did join back in June when I was pg but I think I only managed all 5 stars because I was on holiday! Once I was back at work it all went downhill!

I have been up with the housework the last couple of weeks though and quite often have a crazy 10min benny hill session of tidying :)

It's 12 til 2 at Jellybeans in town

I think I was up at 12am, 2.45am (brought him in our bed), 4.45am (put him back in his bed), 5.15am, 6.30am (brought him back in our bed as OH was getting up). He woke at 8am and downed a 7oz bottle - first time for a long time!

Hopefully see you later - off to get showered and ready now got a few things to get on with this morning but no doubt I'll drift back on here!
