just a thought is OH asking 'can i go' cos really he doesnt want to go?? but cant bring himself to say that to his friend?? so if you say 'i'd rather you didnt cos...' thats his reason for not going??

maybe wrong but you know how mens minds work at times....

Tia, sorry you've had such a bad day...i agree with Ladybird, a glass of wine and a nice hot bath.

PP, I dont think i'd be too happy either. I think you need to find out if OH actually wants to go and then sort it from there. It wont stress you so much if you know he's dredding the call as much as you are. He may just be looking forward to a quite night in after being at work so much.

MDW and BM, have a good night.

Becles, I really dont know what to say that hasnt already been said but i too dont think he's being fair on you. I really think you need a chat x

Sounds v annoying PP, but what does DH think about it? Have you discussed?

I've skimmed to catch up, sure I missed lots. Yay for Poppie and milk, boo for Tia's day, and that's about all I spotted really. Was there a mini-meet somewhere?

Paediatrician today following up on Elijah's reflux; he's been on the meds (omeprazole and domperidone) for 7 months now. Everything fine but they're keeping him on them til he's 2 then we'll try dropping them and see what happens next. The good news is, from being at one point below the 0.3 centile line for weight (50th for height) at around 6 months or something, he is now 75th centile (and still 50th for height)! So clearly the meds and are diet regime are working well :D

Thanks Maz and Karen on the genesreunited site comments - between the site and pestering my mum I am having good fun building a tree, all kinds of cool ancestors I wasn't aware of :)
  • Tia, definitely tinme for a glass of wine and a long hot bath... in fact, I think I will join you... well, not literally :p

PP, I would be annoyed too, I would talk to DH quietly without fuss and explain how I was feeling...

    Yay for Elijah and Poppie

Hugs for Jillie and K and for Buttons too

Aless, I have started sorting out clothes today - I have loads if you want them - PM me!

If in doubt, ring NHS direct.

DH would go every time if he thought I was OK with it. He said earlier he was feeling ill - but surprisingly he's on phone to F2 now arranging the night.
