I knew nothing about all this, what kind of paperwork will they be filling in? she is coming over on monday

ive known some hvs to check out the home and parents ... some even make you fill in a form saying your partner is not violent x

oooooooooo forgot to say i booked myself in for a haircut .. £20 wash,cut and blowdry which is really cheap for my hair x

I hope there were enough good vibes left over to get me this job. Interview went well, and they said they have a p/t vacancy too, and would I like to be considered for that too, so I said yes, but it would depend on details I would have to work out numbers to see if I could afford it. Would be more hours than I'm doing now, but depends if they want me to split over 4 or 5 days (would have to pay for full day, even if only working 10-3 or something, so that wouldn't help.), and depends how many pennies they offer me. But I would be saving loads on not buying petrol, so yep. I could cope with doing it full time too, but I have a sneeky feeling I have a good chance of being offered the p/t position, just cause I doubt many people applying for a ft job want to work pt!

If Poppy has nicked all the vibes then I don't mind giving them up for such a worthy cause

kindof - I think they just come to do some basic paperwork because it is easier to do the bits that cover you rather than baby before the baby turns up iyswim. I think they did ask a few questions which were pretty much checking that I'm sane, and dh doesn't knock me about, but they were very nice about it "sorry I have to ask this, but ... ". And they gave me loads of leaflets to read while I still had time to take info in too.

Anyway, Izzy is finally napping, so I'm going to see if I can get some sleep in too. I did have all good intentions of doing something constructive, but I'm haivng trouble keeping my eyes open

Kindof, I was due a visit but never got it. They told me it was to register me for a childrens centre, pass on the timetable of what's on there to make it a bit less daunting and to fit it in before baby comes and the chaos begins

It's just to introduce themselves before LO comes along. The papaerwork will just be things like family history and yours and OH general health, things like that. Nothing to worry about

Had a productive day off yesterday. Walked lots with Alex, to school twice and doctors twice, once to find out i no longer need iron tablets, doctor also suggested long term contraception (and I see you were discussing this yesterday - Never entered my head before, have been on the pill for nearly 18 years) and once to get Alex weighed, he is 15lb 1 oz.

Also managed to get the USB lead to work, so listed 14 items on ebay.(Maternity Clothes).

SIL and baby Annie are now home. May visit this weekend if OH can be bothered to arrange it. Will be sad, because my baby, won't look like a tiny baby anymore.

Thanks guys at least I know kinda what they are gonna ask

I remember at my booking in appointment with the MW she asked if I feel safe at home with OH, I was like yes lol deffo! I guess some poor people dont though

He won't accept that working from home and studying from home mean that I actually work. In his eyes, I just sit around on my bum all day. I've tried explaining that I don't and he's seen me filling in reports and stuff for work when he is around, but that's just sitting on my bum doing nothing.

He sounds like yours to be honest. He throws his dirty clothes on the floor even though there is a perfectly good laundry basket available. The ones that need a wash are mixed in with stuff that doesn't need washing, so I'm not to touch it. Then on a weekend when I do clothes washing, I have to repeatidly ask him to sort it out and give me what he wants washing. Then I get into trouble for nagging, or if I just go ahead and do the washing, he's miffed because I haven't washed his stuff. It would be so easily solved if he could just put his washing in the basket as it gets dirty, then I could just remove it and wash it when I want. I prefer to get clothes washing done over the weekend as with being so busy I've got a housework rota with different jobs on each days and the weekend is allocated to washing and ironing clothes. I know it sounds anal but it's the only way I can keep up with stuff.

Pleased Poppie is doing well. She sounds amazing :j

tried to give K his anti-biotic medicine before and as i thought most of it got spat out.
can i put it in a little formula or water and give it through his bottle??

Hugs Becles. Men can be total PITA's. Though mine is in the good books (not very often) for the actual ironing he had dones recently.

You seem to keep repeating this, like a mantra. . I work full time, OH works full time. I do more than him, but he does clean (better than me)and will iron and see to Alex and Joe.

It is possible to work and help out. What would happen if you just stopped doing it all? I've done it before. Point blank refused to do his washing. Until its built up and he's HAD to do a load himself. Not cooked at all etc

I know its not your fault Becles and its very hard to change someone who is so set in his ways. I just feel for you, because you are not getting the help and support you deserve. Really hope i haven't offended you.
