Not yet, was looking at the Primary Times mag to see what free stuff is on, my wages have stopped now, eek! DS1 is 16 on Wednesday so we're eating out together, must book something.

I dunno about the rest of you, but I am quite obviously a perfect parent... I mean... I never get annoyed by whingey kids... Or kids that chobble their food... Or wander around the house with a ginormous green candle hanging from one nostril... I got woken at 2:30 and got up at 5:15 and despite the fact it was nearly midnight before I actually got to bed I haven't been at all annoyed by an obviously tired baby whinging around my feet and I'm definitely not sitting here in my rice crispie dotted pyjamas with unbrushed hair... Now if you don't mind... I'm not going to go and put cbeebies on and strap the smallest most miserable of all babies into the swing in the hopes that it might put her to sleep...

Do you know about happy hour at pizza hut? Pizza, side and a drink for £4 each between 2 and 6pm. Depends if it's what you want though

I really think this whole "discussion" has more than run its course and 99% of its participants (and we observers) are totally sick of it by now. So why can't we just drop it all and move on to our normal fluffiness?

In other news, I thought babies were supposed to sleep more after the 6 week mark? Garrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

Anyone heard from jha lately (weezl?). Hope she's okay! I think we need some newbies on here - I'm tired of having the youngest baby

Thanks Aless, I did have a couple of good nights... Although poor hubby lost his Sunday lie in because I was just too tired to get up... Monday night was brilliant, she fed at 11, cried out a bit at 2:30 but it turned out to just be a fart so she settled off until 3:30, fed and then slept until 7 when hubby got up with her so I got another 42mins in bed on my own... It's all ups and downs... I'll be glad when there's more ups!!

I can't believe the fallout from that formula thread.

It's a forum - why take things personally? If things are said that upset you then there's probably a reason for that (i.e it bothered you beforehand). An example of that would be Glam, she wanted to bf but couldn't, and although she might be ok with it now, the feelings were resurfaced because of certain comments. Whereas csh obviously never wanted to and couldn't give a monkeys what people think. I hope that makes any kind of sense.

I totally disagree that people should PM someone who has "offended" them. If you use an open forum then you need to realise you WILL read views that you disagree with, but to me that is the whole point of a forum and its why i love them. I visit various forums and have done for years, and have taken part on lots of debates/heated discussions so i do know it can play on your mind, but i think all this apologising and tiptoe'ing around people is what makes it 'fluffy' IMO (not that i ever did think it fluffy, but it's been said).
