This is what we do at swimming, which although is a council run session, it seems to follow the waterbabies lesons that someone posted about the other day.

We start by getting baby to learn a command, we use "babies name, ready, go" and then splash their face with water. We then move onto a cup of water and then a jug before the instructor wil allow baby to be "dunked". The command is the important bit, it let baby knows they are going to be wet/dunked.

Ooo, thanks for this! I knew there was something about working them up to dunking but couldn't remember what. You know, I didn't even think about the jabs thing - thanks for rescuing my baby brain again, ladies!

I have read the threads with interest today after seeing Glam so upset, I haven't posted my many thoughts as I have been so busy but I am not happy with some peoples opinions!
