Glam. If you did have supply, and had chosen to go on formula for whatever reason, then i doubt you'd feel like that. Because the choice was taken out of your hands you probably feel worse about it when things like that are said.

Please don't let it get to you. Everyone i know IRL uses formula, me and everyone i know was given formula as a baby - i always saw it as 'the norm' more than bf'ing, and none of us missed out nutritionally. Just think of all those babies who are given condensed milk (some chavs i know of do this). :D

How very interesting, Krystal - I've often wondered whether MBP would be satisfied by having a child with a genuine condition rather than a parentally-induced one, but if she was giving him extra meds then perhaps not.

Sorry to be so nebby, I don't mean to be rude or minimise the situation.
S'ok, I think a lot of what went on has to do with the type of person she is... Very manipulative and spiteful... She tried to ruin our wedding and was disappointed when she failed... And even more disappointed when she didn't get any attention for it (good or bad) at the reception... She uses money as a tool, and uses it to fight her children off against each other (I will give you £20 if you get your sister to ring me) etc I think if BIL hadn't had the convulsion then she would have created an illness in DH... He had a lucky escape really... Kind of...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hi all, i'm in bed still, just fed t. Not read back yet, sorry I've just been so busy lately.

Just wanted to say congrats to 3 to be, sorry it's late!! Hope it's all going well :-)

Also beenie I really sympathise about ur neighbours. We has one nite recently (so nothing like ur going through) but it started at 11 just as t had gone to sleep, so just as I wanted to pack in as much sleep as poss!! Went on till 1am and it was horrible, couldn't sleep at all. R u still keeping a record of it? xx
It started to improve so i left it for a bit, i feel like i'm back at square one now but keep trying to tell myself i should be grateful that it's not constnt banging anymore.

Tbh, most of the time it's not even that loud, i doubt a monitor would pick it up as excessive, it's just a drone of tv - not loud enough to make out words iyswim?
It's because it's 1am every flipping night, and then i hear them faffing around in the kitchen cos that's closest to my bedroom (although i'm upstairs obv). Once i've noticed it i can't ignore it  I hate them! lol

Glam, I'm so sorry you feel so bad. It sounds like the thread you read has left you feeling super sore and vulnerable and bad :( I wish there was something I could do. Naughty girl for not living in Wales anymore :p

I think we're in a similar position, you and me. We had straightforwardish birth experiences, but what's left us with trauma and worry is how we've ended up feeling in ourselves about not BF. I feel it too about Fergie and Kester. We are good mummies though, you and me. Our boys will be well loved by thoughtful, clever, creative giving mummies.:D

    Hugs to you.

Glam - I've sent you a PM, didn't want to bring anything up on here that might cause further hurt. Hope that is okay.

:j For WM's SIL and baby Annie - beautiful name. :j

Krystal You might win the comp. for most bizarre MIL! I suspect odd-mum down the road has something similar. Her DD is always ill, apparently, although seems really healthy & normal whenever she comes here to play. Its now got to the point where she's trying to claim DLA for DD's bedwetting/nappies at night problem, however when she's been here for a sleepover there is no bedwetting or nappy needed? (I think the DLA claim may also have something to do with Odd-Mum being able to stay on Income Support for longer now the rules have changed ).

Glam hunny - you're a wonderful Mum to a beautiful, happy, healthy little boy. Would the breast-police rather you didn't feed him at all?

Next time there is a meet during the school holidays, i'll bring Liv with me. You can tell me if you can tell she was FF. She's happy, healthy, never been to the doctors, doesn't have asthma, eczema, two heads or any other condition that FF gives you. Would she be so healthy if i'd tried to b/f her with no milk?

Don't look at the other thread, there are too many idiots on it, and too many posts by someone who isn't known for her tact/interpersonal skills. ;)
It's really angered me that words written down can cause so much hurt to my friends. I'll give you a real hug and a two cheek kiss on Friday. :p

    [/QUOTE]

Hugs for Mr SS (and SS), and yey for Mr MFD coming home.

Lots of stay strong vibes for Poppie too, (And her mum & Granny :p).

Glam *hugs* dont get upset and worked up you ARE doing the best for your baby, you put his needs first and your a fabby mummy! All but one of mine have been BF and FF and when i had to give up with Erin it was like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. someone else could help feed, i didnt have to be the onlyone to do it all myself. All the pressure is awful and i wouldnt have thought that giving my baby formula was inferier, i needed to do it and my children are all still healthy and happy(well they are grumpy a lot lol!) At the end of the day you have sone your best and noone expects any mor than that. You know we are all here for you and please dont get upset, every mother has to make desicions and sometimes you dont know if they are right or wrong you just need to go with whats best for you. come on i have 5 and still ask questions as i unsure of things! pm if you wanna chat xxx
What's for you won't go past you
