He hates being flannelled! I think I am too rough :o

And he always has fluff between his toes, I get embarrassed when there is red fluff mixed in and he wore his red socks a week ago :o :rotfl:

I just wondered what others were doing. I know some bathe every day but there is no way I would be up for that!!

I was bathing every day with the exception of a Friday & Saturday (cos I'm lazy on a weekend!) but now it's more like every other night in the week. Jack gets toe fluff really bad and neck jam too! BLEURGH!!!
He's like Daddy with his belly button fluff!!!

Well, he's down in his own room so we are going to have a game of Simpsons Cluedo

Be back later when they go on the PS3

How cute is B?!!!! I think I would be in tears if that was J! He has started taking more notice when OH rings me and I put it on loudspeaker
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Would pureed meat actually look like thick soupy kinda stuff? _pale_

Yep, it does - and by the time I've mixed the pulped potato and puree cauliflower into it, it'll look just like "mush from a jar". :rotfl:

Oh well, it's just a phase we have to go through to get to the lumpy food stage.

Glam, i rang and complained :o

He was adamant i didn't order sauce. rolleyes-2.gif I told him it's not my problem he didn't write it down, and i've been on the phone several times chasing up my order for the last two hours so i would have ordered it then if i'd forgot. Idiot. rolleyes-2.gif

Anyway he sent the sauce and a new pizza for DS, took about 10 mins to get here - why couldn't they just do that the first time lol! I'm regular enough that i don't have to spell my street name anymore, but not regular enough to warrant a discount for lateness, clearly.rolleyes-2.gifrolleyes-2.gifrolleyes-2.gif

(i do miss the rolleyes smiley being on the smiley list, posts just aren't the same without it)

MFD, wed and sun are bath nights here unless there has been something needing a bath to sort out. Boys get Hands, face, neck wash before bed. Amber gets the same, especially her neck cos it's started going really red and minging. I use the micorfibre flannels though so they are a lot softer.

Meat doesn't purree right, smashing with a fork is better once they can take some lumps. Or it's never pureed right for me I should say. I've done spaggy bol with pasta, chicken and veggies, and some of our steak pie (casserole steak, gravy, onions and ectra carrot). With chicken if you cook it first, allow to cool, chop up with a knife (as if you were doing garlic) then add it to your sauce and veggies it works good.

On weaning, Amber will take the heinz mums own jars and some of the hipp organic but will not touch any of teh other ones I tried. But the heinz and hipp look more like home made while the rest seem to be gloopy? And she has discovered juice!
