Have you tried Rhys with avocado yet, Elle? I just thought of it as I'm eating guacamole for lunch. Avocado is nice and calorie rich!

Oh no, not yet but had thought about it. I keep meaning to ask my friend who I know eats a lot of them but someone here is bound to know.. What do I do to it to stop it going brown/black? (can't see him eating a whole one in one go!) :)

And what else would you serve it with for a baby? I know some thought our carrot and apple was an odd mix, but I'm not sure what to mix with avocado with it being creamy *confused* (can you tell I don't eat them?! :o)

elle - if you mash it all at once, put the pit in the bowl with the mash. It's an old trick when making guacamole to keep it green. Also lemon juice! ;)

eta: holy crap, when did it get to be 1pm?!

Oh, I keep forgetting to say - Tigs and Glam, have the fairies arrived yet? I've got slow fairies and they only went on Wednesday (well, I gave them to my sis to post then, so hopefully she's done it!). Sorry about the delay.

Not yet - will let you know :)

thats what I need to try J with next! He's just had half a jar of Vegtable & Chicken casserole which he seemed to enjoy!

I was changing his nappy this morning and he decided to poo while I was doing it - it was very firm despite me giving him juice during the day. Half an hour later we had a much softer poo which judging by the colour was the butternut squash/sweet potato & carrot mix he had for tea _pale_

He is now watching the Merseyside Derby with his Daddy and being very noisy!
