ok me and philip have been booted to the edge of the sofa by a mini lump taking the whole thing up *rolleyes* ... job hunting has turned up nothing need to get some ink or a less expensive bloody printer ...

sami i agree with the attention seeking my mother did the same thing to make me feel guilty ... beanie im guessing he'll turn up in a day or wondering why you're not destroied with the thought hes lieing in a ditch somewhere ...

mfd YAYY!! for mr MFD doing well :D x
could you print a cv out at the library and then photocopy it for cheaper than buying ink *shrugs*
She and the boys seem to be doing really well. She BF them for 6 months and William has lots of teeth (Lewis not so many!). I keep up with her on FB :D

Incidentally, when I went out for dinner with Krystal and 3 we had a chat about her and I have since discovered that we 3 are the only ones from here that are MSE friends with her - spooky coincidence ;)
    ...
Really do have to run now. xx
*coughs* no you're not :p I'm her friend too  I loved her vid of the boys bouncing to funky music a while back :T
I'm also FB friends with little pickle, remember her? her LO was born at around 30wks too
My small child has a fascination with the cats bowl... Every time I turn around she's scuttled into the kitchen and is fiddling with the biscuits... I'm tempted to let her try one in an attempt to put her off... But I fear she may enjoy them... _pale_

Oh, and I just put a stew on in the slow cooker and then noticed the meat went OOD yesterday... I'm guessing I would have noticed if it was off before I fried it up so I'll just not say anything and hope we don't all come down with botulism or something...
we discussed this while you were AWOL, according to most toddlers I know, cat biscuits = yummy snack _pale_

MFD - whay are you STILL here?! bog off ;) and get hubby a pair of old fashioned button up the front PJs if he gets fed up of everyone swooning at his bare chest :D

I swear I have THE noiseiest (??sp) baby in the world!
He is chatting away at he toys on his bouncy chair and before that was taking to the lizard in his jumperoo - he gets agitated when they don't talk back so I have to step in!

At least at Tuesday he had Vi to talk to and she did talk back to him and try and stick her fingers in his mouth - he liked chomping on them :rotfl:

I started off in the middle but found he didn't want to finish the bottle.
He will only need 1 spoon of whatever it is you are giving him at first just to get the taste, won't he take that after a bottle? Perhaps try when there is an ounce left in the bottle so he's not too full.
When are you doing it? I started with the mid morning feed so he was quite awake & alert.

get ready for more poos - we've gone from 1 to 3-4 a day! off to change one now

I give food an hour after a bottle. Just started with baby rice mixed with fruit puree. We are on day 3 and its going quite well. Hes also drinking water out a cup which is cool!

Hes now taking over 40oz of milk a day and having a bottle every 2.25hrs and having 2 bottles in the night, despite all this milk he has gained less than 1lb in 6 wks which is why the HV told me to give him baby rice and fruit puree incase anyone wants to know why we are early weaning.

ETA I give it at lunch time around 12.30.

ggodnes csh! did 'they' say anything about him drink so much but not gaining? That's one hungry boy!!

Jillie I started with breakfast with Chris but we we're lazy bums, he'd have a bottle around 6/7am then we'd go back to sleep for a couple of hours then get up and have brekky.
In general I think I always gave food then about 30mins later a bottle. (I wish I could find the blooming book I wrote everything in!)

am using fruity rice free sample we got from c&g. he did seem today to take a bit so i think we're on the way. broke off a little rusk and gave him that to suck on so that may have given him a bit of a taste for food.

K has been slow on putting weight on too. but none of the HV have said anyhting to me bout weaning. he's having bout 35oz a day.
