    Hi all,

    UTIs!
Do they often go away by themselves? When would you decide it wasn't going away by itself and go to a doctor?
Is there anything available over-the-counter which is relevant?

Unclear and vague questions I know!

Welcome back Krystal, now I can stop stalking you on Facebook maybe :D

Hi still catching up so don't know if you've had an answer but: My OH had an untreated UTI that led to permenant scarring on the kidneys. He only has 80% kidney function now which means his kidneys do not filter properly and this had caused high blood pressure. He is on BP tabs for life now as if his BP goes untreated his kidneys get worse.
All ao this was diganosed after a very painful kidney biopsy and could have been avoided with a course of anti-biotics :( He is rubbish about going to the Docs when ill and assumes things fix themselves

Seems the trick to the Jumperoo is to change the view! Just moved J around to look at the spinning lizard and it seems that is VERY entertaining - much more than the lights and animals! He is spinning it like mad and bouncing like a loon!

Beenie - thinking about it. Get SM to go round and sort those workmen out! She's good at sorting things out - like stinky nappy bins in Nandos!!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

My small child has a fascination with the cats bowl... Every time I turn around she's scuttled into the kitchen and is fiddling with the biscuits... I'm tempted to let her try one in an attempt to put her off... But I fear she may enjoy them... _pale_

Oh, and I just put a stew on in the slow cooker and then noticed the meat went OOD yesterday... I'm guessing I would have noticed if it was off before I fried it up so I'll just not say anything and hope we don't all come down with botulism or something...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I loved the way she was quizzing me about my ex and stuff, gave me a great chance to talk to someone neutral. Uusally i mention it then they just leave it, but i prefer to be quizzed!

She's going to meet me at the BF group on Monday cos i told her i was papping myself about going :D She's also going to have a word with my housing officer re. the stress of neighbours/my vulerability affecting me from a health POV ;) Hopefully she'll stick a few points on for me so i have more chance of getting a new (bigger) house! :p She's going to come back next week too.

    :j for good HV!

Our HV's do that, then they introduce you to someone that they think you will get along with and have a wee chat just the 3 of you for a while to break the ice.

She and the boys seem to be doing really well. She BF them for 6 months and William has lots of teeth (Lewis not so many!). I keep up with her on FB :D

Incidentally, when I went out for dinner with Krystal and 3 we had a chat about her and I have since discovered that we 3 are the only ones from here that are MSE friends with her - spooky coincidence ;)

Like Moscow Mule? Smirnoff used to do a Mule bottle that I loved in my youth!! Until one day there was something clinking inside my bottle and it was a big chunk of glass _pale_

Really do have to run now. xx

glad to hear that icklebeans is doing well. i was wondering how she got on.

Can I have a hug please? My parents coffee shop is being sold :( They just can't do it anymore, even if we did make it to the summer, by the time we pay off all the arrears we'd be back at square one. *sigh*

Now where am I to go when DS2 is at nursery? Home and tidy up? Bleurgh!

On the good side, a mummy friend from nursery gave me a blue ikea bag filled with clothes for Amber. It's all next, monsoon, M&S! Lots of pretty dresses, cute tops, girly trousers and gorgeous shoes! Oh and hats.... so that cheered me up a bit I guess.
