Tee hee! The timing is a little daft!

I'm trying to put together a meal planner and shopping list with recipes and full costings to show that you can feed a family of 4 (I'm going to assume 2 adults and 2 teenagers) giving them 7 of their 5 a day, enough protein, carbs etc... For £100 a month, all in.

I'm getting there but I need a bit of help at the recipe testing and frugalising phase, it's pretty tight (the 7 fruit/veg a day and ensuring all the colours are there is pretty tricky:o in that budget) but I'm enjoying the thinking process :)

seriously how do you do it???? x
    :)Still searching .....:)

Can I have a hug please? My parents coffee shop is being sold :( They just can't do it anymore, even if we did make it to the summer, by the time we pay off all the arrears we'd be back at square one. *sigh*

Everyone has been using your hubby's 'Hairy Builder Named Dave' saying and you missed it :(

For everyone elses sake: It was Krystals hubby who started the Hairy Builder thang when we met up for coffee ages ago :D
I'd been wondering where the buiilder called Dave thing came from.

The 20p will probably go for more - with eBay most people wait til the end to bid :)

I am freaked out - my stereo keeps going quiet then loud :o

    Tia - MASSIVE HUGS!

Weezl - I'd be happy to try out any recipes as long as they don't involve fish! :) or vegtables (only kidding!!)

I confess the 1 problem I had with both of your challenges is [STRIKE]zero[/STRIKE] little fruit content (marmalade doesn't count! :p), but of course every household has its "can't-live-withouts". That and how on earth did you use 1 pack of loo roll for 3 months - we go through 2 of those packs a month! :o

QUICK POLL: if i put a cardigan over the santa bit can I get away with taking Ferg to baby group in his christmas babygrow? I think it'll just look like red arms and trousers, but I'd hate to lose pals and be the mental mummy:o

K still sleeps in his reindeer sleepsuit and his top with my first christmas, i use under dungarees. of course you've been and gone now....

Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to get your first item from bizziebaby? I signed up in January, but haven't heard anything, but don't want to contact them incase its too soon :o

i joined nov and got my first thing last week. me and csh emailed them the same day and we both got things.
ok me and philip have been booted to the edge of the sofa by a mini lump taking the whole thing up *rolleyes* ... job hunting has turned up nothing need to get some ink or a less expensive bloody printer ...

sami i agree with the attention seeking my mother did the same thing to make me feel guilty ... beanie im guessing he'll turn up in a day or wondering why you're not destroied with the thought hes lieing in a ditch somewhere ...

mfd YAYY!! for mr MFD doing well :D x
just a thought on printing. my library charges 10p per page b/w would that be a bit cheaper than buying ink/new printer for a while??
