Morning all, I'm super organized this morning, I washed and dressed Aiden fed him made up some bottles and got the kids to school dropped into see my parents and the lazy lumps are in bed, tres jealous. I shoud not have been so pleased at my nappy folding yeaterday, this mornings nappy had leaked but not as bad as the pampers episode the other day.
On the planned or unplanned baby my mum had always wanted kids but after numerous operations had been told she couldn't but when she was going for an op they discovered she was PG and tried to get her to abort she refused and had a hellish PG with my sis, After my sis was born mum had her op then when she felt that she had recovered she tried for me, dad says she had a great easy PG with me but the birth was like a blood bath apparently.
Me well i never wanted any kids I had my life planned out and kids never figured anywhere, then i met OH found out i was PG pretty early with DD, spent a week in shock went to a clinic and sat outside crying because even though i didn't want kids i couldn't bring myself not too IYGWIM. With DS1 i was shocked because i had been getting the jag and had not had a period in about a year, but by that time i had changed as a person and realised i liked being a mum.
This time round for those that don't know I had allot going on and had been very stressed so my period had been all over the place, it wasn't until i sat and eat chocolate one day and wanted more that the bells started to ring that something was up, off i went and got a cheapie PG test as "i can't be PG my period has been all over the place" By the time I got to the hospital and got my dating scan i was 20 weeks :rotfl: So Aiden was definitely unplanned but so worth it.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Hi 3! If it helps, I don't think any nappy would stay dry on a newborn over night!
Pampers baby are designed to soak up baby poo rather than liquids. Pampers baby dry are much dryer than Newborn ones.0 -
MFD reassured us you were enjoying real life, so we let you off, whilst having big pangs of Kristal-missing obviously
Have you said about Aimee's one in a millionness? Am I being preg brained?
Not sure I've ever mentioned about Aimee... But the short story is, my ex and I decided to try for a baby and after a long time of nothing happening, had a lot of tests done and I was told there was a problem with both my ovaries and my pituitary gland and that my chances of conceiving naturally were so slim that I shouldn't even consider it an option... Aimee arrived about 4 years after that... (and a year after I kicked out the ex lol)
Funnily enough, the day before I found out Caitlyn was on the way, a friend and I were talking about my chances of concieving again (basically saying, we didn't know if it could happen again...) and all the while he was musing on it, I was sitting there thinking to myself "I'm sure I'm pregnant"A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

He's up now. Slept 12am-10am straight, plus most of the evening with OH.
Could hear his poor lil belly rumbling though he's not screaming for milk (it's warming now). Unfortunately he seems to have a drippy nose and is sneezing hard... oops!0 -
Anyone know where has got nappies on offer atm? We have about enough for another week I think, but might as well get some this w/e to be on the safe side!

32B - one thing is to make sure the wrap covers every last bit of the nappy and there's none poking out the top. The main time I get leaks is if there's a little bit of the nappy peaking up out the back and then that seaps onto his clothes. Also, maybe try doubling-up your booster? We use Huggies in the night and not had any problems, but my cloth nappies in the day also fare quite well!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
