I have never had the 'was I planned' conversation with my Mum! And I don't intend to either

Yep SB it's Tuesday, we haven't decided whether to find out or not!!
I am just so scared that something is wrong and I don't mean that to sound insensitive to mums and babies on here who have been/are going through a lot. I just mean it from my own experience of ds2's scan where they thought he has Edward syndrome and would certainly not live past a few months old, if he survived long enough to be born. The couple of weeks from scan to amniotic and results were the most sickening I've ever been through..... I don't want to go through that again. When I had my scan with kai I was shaking the whole time and felt sick with fear until it Was all over!!!!
Thanks Sami, didn't realise bb stuff came direct!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Elle, no, her GP refused to treat her and she went for a termination. He said that he could not on his conscience treat a woman who deliberately conceived a child knowing that it would leave 3 others without a mother. I'd have sympathy if it was an accident, but she admits that she tricked her husband (told him she had a coil) and knew she would have to have a termination but she just had too. Although... she also swears it was a girl but called the baby Michael but never told anyone and had a breakdown when we called DS1 Michael, so who knows what to believe with her. She told SIL that she thought she was pregnant a few years ago, but she was sterilised after the termination and had been through the menopause already.
Oh yeah, and the only reason she went to a doctor was because she had a seizure (due to the brain thing) and they tested her at the hospital. She had kept the pregnancy a secret. Wasn't that far on though.0 -

Night all I have work again - boo!
Ooo - you must be born very close to when I was born (early September 1976?)
I was a gift from the Gypsies!!
Mum had 3 miscarriages, one of which was quite late on, and her and dad had decided that they would stop trying. A gypsy came to the door and mum gave her some old curtains and the gypsy said 'you will get what you want soon enough' and about a week later she found out she was pregnant with me
Incidentally, because of the miscarriages she was told to sleep on her front throughout the whole of her pregnancy because it made babies stick better...and I did
Off to a big empty bed on my lonesome
See you all tomorrow, take care and thank you very much for today xxxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
