Oh, birthing pools, that reminds me... Weezl, how much are you thinking of spending? There's a brand new (cancelled home birth) birthing pool and all the kit with it for £120 on our netmums board

It does seem an unecessary qualification. Perhaps what they are saying is that the health of their baby is more important to them than whether it is a boy or a girl but aren't quite getting the wording right?ETA: But then again, I get annoyed with people answering the "do you want a boy or a girl?" question with "don't mind, as long as it's healthy".. Would love to know what all these people intend to do with the unwanted unhealthy babies? :cool:Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Like tia said, LO just needs a rest and that's what the ventilator is there for
Rhys was on a vent, then came off it on Day 4 (well he pulled the tube out and they went with it!), then back on it on Day 6 (til Day 11). We just had to look at him going back on it as him needing a little reboost
How many weeks was DD?
31wks today. I was just so unprepared!
I mean I knew it would be emotional, please don't think I'm ignorant. But I guess I thought it would be different to my births. But it was overwhelming. I felt the same rush that I had when I gave birth, was amazing. Ok, now I feel stoopid. Too many children, too little time!!!

I agree - I think it's ignorant. "Boy vs girl" and "unhealthy vs healthy" are not in the same league, imho  Just a touchy subject for me, obviously
And, for the record, I never ever said "as long as it's healthy" despite having no idea of what was to come (purposely because my mum had a stillbirth at 36wks before me and I was already well aware the two questions are not in the same league).
Tara, the same as Rhys - 31wks exactly

My mum told me sisters are nasty and horrible when I said I wished I had a sister and that was bad enough. Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5
