Oops ignore me, i just seen it's number 2. I wondered if it was #3 cos we've got 2 on dvd from the neighbour.

No wonder it was shockingly bad quality must have been a "cam" copy rather than dvd rip.

Right, am back from the hospital, so here's Andrew's monthly update!

Paediatrician - is still not happy with Andrew's weight gain (1lb in 4 weeks). So he's being put back onto EBM Fortifier powder (you mix it up with the EBM) for extra calories. She is however very happy with his physical development, as he demonstrated his ability to grasp things by grabbing her NHS ID badge and not letting go! And he followed her face from side to side, turned when he heard a noise, laughing and cooing, all the things he's meant to be doing. I think she's relieved that there's no appearance yet of any problems as a result of his cranial bleed.

Physio - is also happy with his development, again his grasping ability (a rattle this time). She wants us to do more "tummy time", which I find tricky as the mat is on a cold floor so not really appealing. The other option is his cot-top changer, but it's pretty boring up there and doesn't give much room to commando crawl. She advised me against putting him in any kind of babywalker (which I wasn't going to anyway).

    Back in six weeks! :)

  • Tigs, that is great news. And the weight gain will come eventually!

Edit - I have to call the hospital in about an hour. Still not sure about visitors.

    I have been pondering:

Glam - you mentioned this morning that you are gonna stop cooking for J because you are not convinced of your cooking ability? What's up hun? He wolfed down his carrot and pear on Tuesday and then told us all about how yummy it was!! I hope it wasn't anything your OH said to upset you (after his enchilada strop). Is there anything we can do to help / bolster your confidence?

Meet-ups - I may feel like this because I have a 'free-range' baby like V but I was thinking that it might be nicer for the babies (especially as they get a bit older) to meet somewhere that gives a bit more room to play. I am not sure if such a place exists but if it was more like a playgroup where babies could play and mummies could move about and chat to everyone (not sat on a long table) then it might be a nicer environment (and Benjamin would be much less whingey :o he hates being cooped up for long!)
I had a lovely time on Tuesday but it would have been nice to chat more to the ladies on the other end of the table and to see the babies having a kick about on the floor! Having said that, I probably won't be able to make another one!
