.. Elle are you lurking, what's wrong? xx

Nothing much.. Feeling crappy with a stuffy nose (just annoyed I can't breathe really!) and nowt much to say :)

.. Elle weekend of 27th, are you free on the friday or monday either side?

Gah.. kinda! Craig's taking both off cos we're going away that weekend (Harrogate for my birthday), so he's taking the Friday off to spend with Rhys and I'm off out with the girlies in the evening, then Monday morning is the blood test with the crappy nurse.

Are you thinking of coming to me, or me coming to meet you on north side of Bridge? I don't mind either way :) We'll sort something.. :D

You are more than welcome - I got my elite and fancy job in financial services mainly because of my Excel powers (and Countdown success of course), which is ironic as I now spend almost all my time redrafting emails and making pretty Powerpoint slides. Happy to be bothered with Excel stuff any time as it will help cut me down to size when I realise how atrophied my skills are!

Do you have my old job? Oh no, wait, that describes everyone who works in financial services head office :D!!!!

  • Hi all :D

tara just phoned, she is on route to the hospital. DD is too far gone to transfer her to Bristol or to stop the labour, so are delivering where she is and will then transfer her after. She said she will keep me informed xx

Dylan had his eye test this mornin and she was really happy with him, however he may be a bit longsighted, so we have to go back for the dye test and glasses check and see if he needs mini specs !!! Hope he doesnt, but if he does, how cute will that be !!

Hope you are all well xx

  • Hi Claire - I didn't get a chance to say well done to you the other day, I think you are a hero :D
How are you? Any more thoughts about work?

Not a hero thats the firemen but just did what I hope other people would do for us if our family needed it. :o

I'm applying for jobs and looking for a little car but as yet no joy. Didn't get an interview for a job I really wanted so was a bit disappointed, got an interview next week for another job which will be just over a mile walk each way (should burn off some weight!) but 40hrs per week and I don't want to be doing that many. Already spoken to the manager and she said they would do a job share if someone else wanted to and to go for interview and take from there. Also applied for another job which is part office based and part childrens centre based but would definately need a car for that! Decent pay and 20hrs pw so a lot better.

    Afternoon everyone,

I was just popping on to see if any news on Tara's daughter and see she's in labour. Positive vibes for your family x

Gorgeous pics Beenie & Aless (Isla had the same babygrow Beenie )

MFD - hope DH doesnt have to wait too long and how lovely that he stood up for you to his mum *swoon*

Isla's been weighed this morning and is now 11lb exactly at 11 weeks, still following the 25th centile. HV was asking about her constant feeding and kept skirting around how tired I look . I've got an 11 week old, of course Im tired!

Good luck Tara and DD1! Hope it all goes as smoothly as possible for them both.

Would bubs be delivered naturally at 31 weeks or would it be a c-section to get her out as quickly as possible? (Q aimed at anyone who might know, as I realise Tara won't be on for a while).

My neice was born at 32 weeks naturally, but nephew was a Em. c/s at 30 weeks think it was an abruption.

Both are extremely healthy, never needed any meds, no delayed development etc. Neice is now 5, nephew 18m.
And along with Andrew, Rhys and Rose, just goes to show how advanced it all is so hopefully nothing to worry about!

edit - when was angela last on anyway?

Beenie - Brunos brother was on too and he was better than Bruno cos he made a rude word :p

    *self-doubt* I didn't dream that did I Bruno?

Are you doing my job? Add in some scrapping with hairy ar5ed builders and that is my job description :D

I see you are still showing off your 9 letter prowess ;)

mfd, I thought all 3 of the bruno clan make rude words on countdown?

I think it was just a thinly veiled attempt from MFD to trick me into saying

    "orgasmed" again ;p

which was my rude word, and a lot better than my brother's "fart"! My word and Carol's reaction made page 3 of the Sun, and the Virgin Breakfast Show, and all sorts!

*hhmphs at his orgasmic claim to fame being down-played ;)*

And yes - redrafting emails and making pretty Powerpoint slides seems to be something that many thousands of people keeping the financial engine going do! *eyerolling smiley* Occasionally I get to do other things.
