Sorry em - this one was just a tikka masala out of a jar! I tend to make curries ver hot when I make them from scratch, I need to experiment to make it milder but still tasty...
Mookie, sorry I didn't answer you regarding leilas feeding. I just ended up giving kai food he could feed himself with by hand. So broccolli, carrots, boiled/roasted pots cut into chunks... Oven chips/wedges, fishfingers, toast, sandwiches cheese cubes, breadsticks, crackers, chedders, banana, apple, raisins(just recently) those kinds of things, like I say it has been fairly limiting but I made sure it was mostly healthy with the odd sausage or chippy chips thrown in the mix:)

*Speaking of which, what's the perspective of you lovely people on early ear piercing? A friend of mine is wild to pierce her baby's ears and says she'll get it done around 4-6 months. I was a bit  but wondered if I was wrong to be so judgemental?
no,no,no!!! i saw a little baby prob bout 9 month with hoops!!! omg!! how easy would it be for baby to pull them...ouch!!!
i had mine done when i was 10. my aunt took me, never told me dont recall ever asking for them to be pierced though...:rotfl: Just confused Rhys.. I was talking to OH on the phone (don't usually during the day, just txt instead) and I put the phone to Rhys' ear. His eyebrows shot up, then he looked towards the door (where Daddy is usually standing when he first comes in and says Hi to Rhys), then back at the phone in amazement!
aw so cute. i hold the phone to K so daddy can talk and he looks like he's really listening and then gurgles at the appropiate time. looks like he's having a proper chat to him.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

we all got a lovely kiss (1 on the cheek) from MFd on meeting and leaving and despite what she says on here i'm pleased to say that Benjamin does have hair
I'm glad you had fun
*still jealous*
And in case anyone ever meets me in RL, I'm a two-cheek kisser and I always go to your right, my left, first.
Did your aunt just get your ears pierced because she thought it was time?!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

possibly...
i just remember her calling to the house, saying she was taking me to dublin for the day (she did this quite a lot) and then we went to the jewellers and i got my ears pierced. dont know if she'd asked mum or not
but i s'pose being 10 i was able to look after the cleaning etc myself.
must ask mum the next time i chat to her (if i remember)
dont suppose you'll be over this way with going to the bahamas (i'm not jealous btw ) for a while??? we could organise a special meet.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
susan I'm really glad the B6 hypothesis seems to be making sense and it's giving you hope for baby 2
Some of the research I did on small gaps between babies says the maternal depletion of nutrients is also linked to how long the woman breastfed for (logically this makes sense, your body will divert nutrients into breastmilk even at the expense of your own cell recovery.
So I'm wondering if a bit of a stint after Alice stops feeding (if that's what she's gently doing now...) of super vitamin and mineraling your diet in preparation might be a good idea, especially if you were beset by a deficiency of B6 last time....
Just a thought anyhow
