  • Elle - last week we had someone round to quote on new guttering etc for the house - he lost the sale from me as soon as he walked in the house and asked if Katie was our grandchild! I know DH is older than me but surely I don't look that old!

    Charlotte has two and asks for more! I think she has a secret weetabix addiction as she refuses to eat anything else for breakfast, and she talks about weetabix frequently throughout the day :D

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    God I LOVE Charlotte :D

    If I ever do have another and it happens to be a girl Charlotte is the top of my names list in the hope that she is as funny, witty, bright and beautiful as your Charlotte is xx

    I am fed up of my hands being so dry - I feel like I'm constantly moisturising them. They are so cracked :(

    Join the club...maybe we should Sudocrem them and just shake hands on Tuesday :D (although I am not sure that our !!!!!! loving troll would approve ;))

    OH's Auntie has had to face that she'll never have a planned baby of her own. Uncle has 4 from previous marriage, she had to face that if she wanted to be with the man she loves then it meant no babies (unless they win the lottery) they just can't afford it :(

    Having gone through the whole soul-destroying self searching involved in a decision such as this I can only sympathise (although ours was nothing to do with money). I know more than anything that a man has to want to have a baby for me to want to give him one. Above anything else, bless the poor, poor baby made out of duty :(

    ...and with a cousin who was exactly that and knew it (silly daddy let it slip) it harms the kids more than you think.

    :eek: Cheeky so-and-so!

    OH is 37 but doesn't look it (apparently - I don't think I know any other 37 year old blokes well enough to compare!). When he was 36 (his last birthday when I was at work), I mentioned his birthday to colleagues and they asked "Is it a big one, is he 30 this year?". That impressed him no end :rotfl: Until I bought him wrinkle cream for his 37th :p (honestly, he'd run out and it did make a difference and he was complaining about wrinkles.. I wasn't being mean - much!)
  • My OH is 47 next birthday! there's 13 years between us. He was the envy of all his friends when got together as he was 31 and I was 18!
