.. Am I the only one who is undecided?

Nope, I'm completely undecided! I only decided on 2nd April (2008) I wanted kids and was preg by 25th June (see, I remember dates too!)! :o I have no idea.. I've honestly never really thought about how many kids I'll have / I want. I think I'll just wait and see if I ever think "It'd be nice to have another one" and then go with it. If that happens one more time or eleven more times (or never), so be it! *shrug*

ETA: It depends if we can afford to have more too.. I know for certain I'm not prepared to make too many sacrifices to our "standard of living" (is that the right phrase?) just to have more kids. If we're earning more or our costs go down, all good. If we can't afford it, no more kids. Simples!

Subject of more kids - Yes, because it would be wrong of me to deny Lucy, just because I already have a few. Not yet, too early in the relationship, unless an unforseen incident happens. Finances not an issue and a stable home points to yes, but too early in relationship, but who knows when we will decide to 'go for it'.

i cannot imagine having 3 kids, never mind 7 thinking about another one. I really admire you for havng the patience and time for each of them. I think i would be in a mental home. lol

Wrong of you to deny Lucy???

What a strange way to look at it.

I am certainly glad that my husband (who had 3 boys already) didn't just decide to have children with me because it would be 'wrong to deny me children'. In fact, I would find that incredibly insulting.

I apologise if I have picked up on a minor point or a turn of phrase and turned things around but personally I would rather be without than be given a child 'out of duty'.

how on earth do u remember the day and date etc!????? am i just completely un-sentimental!? :o

I'm like that. I was going to put our wedding anniversary date on Facebook and then realised I couldn't remember when it was. I knew what month it was but had to look the day up on our marriage certificate later :o
SM - we don't do valentines day

    Same here :D

But we are going out for a meal all by ourselves on the 12th Feb for a mystery shopping job, so we're looking forward to that. We never get out on our own apart from mystery shopping meal jobs :o

I have officially been 'smoke free' for a year. Well, a year yesterday really. This time 1 year and 1 day ago I was stood on the patio with preg test in one hand, cigarette in the other and the biggest grin on my face you could ever see.

Yay - well done! Craig has given up a few times, so I know how hard it is. You must be so proud xx

Random question (and one that's been asked before but I'm going to say it again :p).. how many weetabix do babies here eat?

Charlotte has two and asks for more! I think she has a secret weetabix addiction as she refuses to eat anything else for breakfast, and she talks about weetabix frequently throughout the day :D

what do you lovely cuisine-experts do with a silverside!?
it is scaring me defrosting in the kitchen cos its just soo huge!!!!!! im so wick at this cooking malarkey if its not chicken!!!! *insert rolly eyes smiley*

Silverside is quite lean, so it's better slow cooked or pot roasted. You can still cook it in the oven like a normal roast but don't over-do it.

Pregnancy & labour was fairly easy first time round but who knows what will happen 2nd time?! I might decide I definitely don't want a 3rd!

Don't count on that! I had a pregnancy and birth from hell with Charlotte, but I still would like more :o

Fromage Frais: I usually buy whichever brand is on offer although I don't like Munch Bunch ones. If none are on offer, I buy the Tesco Disney ones. I think they are £1 for 6. Charlotte likes the Petit Filous ones with the layer of fruit puree on the bottom. She calls them jammy yoghurts :rotfl:

Conception: I know Charlotte was concieved on the night Sunderland beat Leeds 3-0 at Elland Road :o Bizarrely she was born on the 5th May and weighed 7lb 3oz which was the anniversary of Sunderland beating Leeds in the 1973 FA Cup final :D

Been drinking vodka and cranberry juice this evening. A friend said it's a good choice as it's good for vaginal health and I keep randomly giggling about that :o:rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

I'm sure a lot of my friends (my age) think I've had a baby "early" because Craig is older out of some sort of duty. They've never said as much, but when it comes up in conversation and I say I just stopped taking my pill and he just "went with it" (I do recall his words were "Yeah, stop taking it if you want and we'll see what happens" - laidback, us?! ;)), there's a look of relief on their faces that it was actually my decision and "my older man" didn't somehow bully me into it *rolleyes*
