seems like only yesterday that she was so teeny and you were all run down after the birth and sad cos you couldn't kiss charlie cos of a cold sore and now they're both toddlers, I can't get over it! :T:T:T

i remember cos it was such a :eek::D:j moment. we were pretty sure i was pg but waited a whole week to take the test. it was payday and i just bought a boots cheapie. came up pos straight away....said to dh 'didnt think they worked this fast' so did the 2nd one just in case. one of those things i want to remember. also have the car-park ticket from when we went for our first scan

E45 cream...works straight away. mine are wrecked from all the washing and i always forget to buy rubber gloves.

not sure if we will have a party maybe just a picnic tea or something with family, i dont think she would like a party with a lot of people as she is a mummys girl and doesnt like a fuss!
there are a few 1st birthdays here in feb though!!!

I'm patient with no-one but my girls :rotfl:I'm thinking they are growing up now and a baby is all about timing. If in the forseeable future we remain secure, both financially and relationship wise, then it is an option we will likely pursue.

For what it's worth, I never wanted kids and after each one, never wanted anymore. I think i've done a decent 'job', so don't fear anymore. In fact it's a nice idea if still a little scary.

I am certainly glad that my husband (who had 3 boys already) didn't just decide to have children with me because it would be 'wrong to deny me children'. In fact, I would find that incredibly insulting.

I apologise if I have picked up on a minor point or a turn of phrase and turned things around but personally I would rather be without than be given a child 'out of duty'.

Aye, I think it's been turned around as you may not have seen previous posts where I said i'd like more children.

My point with this post, was that if Lucy wanted children and I didn't, we may not last too long. Not because we don't want to be together, but because naturally a female is going to want children. Most do and Lucy is no different.

As i'm easy either way - I want more children, but wouldn't pressurise Lucy and end the relationship if she didn't, then it's an option for the future. I see relationships as full of compromises, and this is one thing i'm very compromisable on. If she said tonight, let's have a baby, then i'd likely talk with her explaining I felt it was too early, but in a few months...who knows. I certainly wouldn't forsake my happiness, but i'm open to the idea and i'd love any children from my relationship with Lucy, as much as I adore my girls I already have. It's all about timing, I feel 36 going on 21, mentally and physically.

I know when I got my BFP for Ed because I was taking Chris to a special event at Martin Mere so the date is on the photos - I'd have to check but I think it was 29th Sept 08. I knew it was gonna be pos because I couldn't face eating my welsh cakes - I'd never turn down a welsh cake unless suffering morning sickness!!
my Chris BFP was a bank holiday in may so could prob work it out or knowing me I'll still have my 2006 diary with it written in god that day was scary!!

ps. pram gone too high, I'm "doing a Tia" being really stingy :cool: I checked and some have sold for <£60 so I'm going for £75 inc p&p, I'd like it for april so plenty time to get one

Heard a bump in the night, got up and J had rolled over and hit the side of his cot! Moved him to the middle & he rolled over again :T
He woke up again in the night a few times so at 5am I bought him into my bed where he slept til 9am!

thanks for the tips on creams - I used sudocrem last night & they feel nice today!

My daughter has been running round after a stray cat for the last week, and this morning it has followed her everywhere she has gone !!!
hmmm, do I want a !!!!! cat ?? Chris hates them, I grew up with one and love them, but I am not so sure about it being around Dylan .........

how do you know it's a stray? cats are well known for having more than one 'owner' and just to prove you don't want one can you see this [LINK REMOVED]

our cat Felix has 2 homes. ours and somewhere else. we hadnt seen him since 28Dec....came back last night for a visit. stayed 5 mins and went....
