LCK, no baby is ''normal'' lol
If you and him are happy with his pattern, then he is still very young to be setting a strict pattern. My LO slept constantly for the first 4 months with maybe an hour or so awake through the day and that was it !!The two best things I have done with my life

I'm OK thanks
Jasmines chair was at the bottom of the stairs waiting to go up and if it wasnt for that me and Dylan would have been head first into the cupboard door !! As it was, I went into the chair and managed to save Dylan from hitting anything, so he is fine, but my tummy and knee got the most of it !!The two best things I have done with my life

must be something in the air, can't even blame it on overuse as its barely been used in the last 3 weeks.
Tara- at least there are some benefits of that much pain!!! I don't know all the ins and outs of your friends situation but it sounds like its a no-win one for you. I have almost lost one of my best friends in the past due to a !!!! of a bloke and ended up backing away from her a bit as it is so hard to see them hurting. We are now back to being best friends again, and strangely I am also now her boss at work (when not on ML), we met at our old place of work and she then followed me to my current job after 4 years so we see each other loads now.Boots: £107.xx on AC :j

i do like skype but i cant pull my funny faces now when she is talking to me...
But pulling funny faces is the best bitIzzy loves talking to her grandparents on skype. DH is still KO in bed (tried to wake him up so he can have an hour with Izzy before bath/bedtime, but he just wanted a drinnk and to be left alone), and it is his Dad's birthday today, so I think that might be a job for us later, even without DH there.

I have decided cleaning my house is too dangerous and it is now allowed to stay messy !! I fell down the stairs after putting stuff away
Oh poor you. Get that DH of yours to look after you tonight then. I love the new avatar btwHi there! After some thoughts and advice. My little one is now 12 weeks old and we aren;t in any kind of routine yet apart from feeding every 4hrs (bottle) and I know that he has a 45min nap after being awake for about 90mins - this pattern tends to repeat through the day until 8pm when he goes to sleep for the night. I've been reading various books - Gina Ford and Baby Whisperer and these seem to suggest it isn't 'normal' to have this kind of sleeping pattern!!! Can anyone shed any light on wether they are talking cobblers or am I missing something with my little man??? Just wondering.
Thanks
Lisa
I wouldn't worry about what the book says is normal - if you are happy with the way things are then go with itHow well does he do at night time? (not that it makes any difference to anything, I'm just nosey!)

Searching- will give it a go, have another load waiting to go into the machine so will try with that
Tara- I'm not sure, knowing me it will have to be pulled out and drained, I'll get OH to have a look when he gets home.
On the subject of baby weight I think I only have (in theory!) 9lbs to lose, although my tummy still looks way too big. I haven't been trying to lose weight at all, hopefully it'll continue to come off, although the last half a stone is always the hardest! I'm not too bothered about my weight tho for the first time ever since hitting my teens, there are far more important things to be thinking about!Boots: £107.xx on AC :j

Gemma, not sure if its the same with yours, but mine used to stop mid cycle all the time and I would just turn the power button off for about 5 mins then when I turned it on again it would finish !!The two best things I have done with my life
