Maz, you are superwomen with the amount you get done in a day. I remember a few days when I managed to load the washing machine and switch it on but not even manage to hang it out on the line :o. And that's just with one baby.
Hope he falls asleep soon for you. xxx

Thanks, he went to sleep about 11.15 and then woke at 3 for a bottle, then back asleep till 8.15ish this morning, had about 3 ozs and has now gone back to sleep again....

Didnt do that much yesterday - only food shopping, pet shop, 2 loads of washing dried/ironed/put away, collected OH's suit from DC, hoovered and mopped floors...... errr think that was it:cool:
I need to make cakes for a cake sale at church on Sunday so my favourite chocolate recipe book has been pulled off the shelf.

Courgette cake, always a winner at my mums church cake sale:drool:... Need to make one today actually as they are having a barn dance tonight... not the most exciting thing in the world I know but at least its a night out and Henry will get to run around and burn some energy up....
he is going to have such a shock when I finally make it back into my own bed!!!

Hello Bruno. Did you get much sleep last night? How are feeling now? My HV recommended Ready Brek btw! I always wanted it as a kid when the advert was on, and my mum caved and bought it and I thought it was disgusting!

Yum yum, ready break, I even love it now!!!

I think I need more spoon cos I put them in the dishwasher and we only put it on every other day. I think we will be needing 5 a day - breakfast, dinner & pud, tea & pud
How do you manage that? We run ours 9-10 times per week.

We have about 2cm of snow so Alice is requesting we build a snowman with her. Fortunately her standards aren't too high - any heap of snow counts as a "snowman".

I wanted to try him on stuff individually first to make sure he wasn't allergic but gonna try sweet potato & apple, Butternut Squash & pear - it's so exciting but OMG How hard is butternut squash to peel and chop!
fair enough but playing devils advocate, when did you last meet someone allergic to sweet potato/carrott/insert random veg here;)

Becles - you're lovely :D I have a feeling Chris would be similar given his current love of flashing and the example Daddy sets lol

eep! Edgar just ripped a chuck of Chris's hair out  he's such a good big brother though he just took it on the chin because he knew he didn't mean it :A

Glam (if she reads back this far when she appears), how come you're trying to develop a sleeping/napping routine at the same time as weaning? Is it important? (where's the confused smilie when you need it) I still let Andrew play when he wants to, and sleep when he wants to. It's only overnight that I've established any routine (milk at 7pm then bed).

Very interesting article. I know in a lot of countries they start school much later - I wonder if that helps? Also interesting thatthey say boys get much more benefit form single gender classes than girls as usually you read about it being the other way round. (Although for girls it tends to be in the context of secondary Maths/Science.)

I know I'm not Glam but no it's not important unless you want those things :)
Weezl posted interesting musings on mummies/daddies that like routine and babies that do/don't :)

E has developed two new habits in unnerving complement - when having his nappy changed he is VERY RARELY willing to lie on his back; he had a phase 6 months ago where this was true but he could be distracted by toys and singing, now he just fights with gritted teeth and grim determination to escape having his bottom wiped :(
While at the same time, out of nowhere, he has started walking into open floor space, and carefully lying down to lie on his back and stare at the ceiling - pointing at the lights and saying... "Light. Light! Light.".
    Gah! *eyerolling smiley*
