    Hello NMS!

So much for me saying H is showing no extra signs of hunger. Had to feed her at midnight so hoped for a long lie, but normality has resumed with an 8am rise!

Hope you have a nice time on Tues at your meet. It is very nice of you to help SM get there. Liam looks like lots of fun in your pics btw. Gorgeous!

Sophie La Girafe est arrivee. Tres excite!
  • Aw thanks Fitz.

We have gone backwards on the feeding and sleeping front since Liam was ill. He refuses to eat breakfast but wolfs down tea, still taking less formula but more than he was (it is slowly building back up), becoming unsettled during the night and has had me up at 7 for the past 2 mornings. - this is because I was bragging that he didn't wake till near 9 most days. Oh well, better for when I'm back in work.

Are you thinking of starting to wean H?

I have been getting prepared for it as I don't think she will be far from it, but just biding our time. Yesterday was the most milk she has taken so will see if it continues. How many bowls and spoons do you have? I only have 1 pack of spoons and 2 bowls at the moment.

Poor Liam - is he feeling himself again? Is it just his feeding that is upset now or is he stil under the weather?

Hello Bruno. Did you get much sleep last night? How are feeling now? My HV recommended Ready Brek btw! I always wanted it as a kid when the advert was on, and my mum caved and bought it and I thought it was disgusting!

Hope you're getting some sleep now, Susan :)
I did thanks although when I went upstairs, OH was still awake too. He was meant to work this morning but since we've got snow, he can't anyway.
You don't live next door to me do you? We had a bad night with lots of full on yelling. Had to givin in and feed Izzy in the end, as she was starving poor thing. She ate loads yesterday, but I think she must be catching up from being poorly maybe. Who knows (I miss the shrugging smiley :( )
No - you're at the wrong end of the country. (And I don't think Izzy ia a ten month old boy.) Hope she sleeps better tonight for you.

I've got 2 bowls with lids for when we are out and about, and I got 6 bowls for £1.09 from Ikea (They do an cutlery pack for the same price too, but I thought it was too big for Liam's mouth) and 2 6pkcs of spoons. Some bits have already been dispatched to Mums house. TBH, I only use a bowl if I am making something up ie: porridge, I usually take a pot of food from the freezer, heat and serve from it - Lazy, me? I think I need more spoon cos I put them in the dishwasher and we only put it on every other day. I think we will be needing 5 a day - breakfast, dinner & pud, tea & pud

He's getting better, fine in himself, his appetite is building back up and just need to sort the sleeping. I hoping it is all connected and when he reaches 100% fitness he will sleep through again!

It's powdered oats so it's just the same as porridge. You can add stuff to change the flavour - we put apple and sultanas in our porridge because OH doesn't like it plain.

We tend to give ready brek, weetabix or a piece of toast most mornings and lunches nowadays. Bit boring :/ and we add stuff to readybrek like petit filous or raisins or etc to give some variety.

Not bad, bit confused as to my plans for the day. Need to go the supermarket but was hoping not to take the boy... but as it was OH's birthday yesterday she treated herself by staying up til 2am reading her new book! Til I realised and dragged her to bed. So she is likely to sleep for a while yet. Then E had some squealing at 5ish and my nose is still very blocked and my sleep was bad anyway. So - all a bit confused and shellshocked and considering my options :)

    8am rise sounds good...!
We have I think 6 spoons and 4 bowls and it's sometimes "not quite enough" but basically ok.
