I'm still around just trying to work out how much my supermarket shop is going to cost tomorrow.
Sounds more productive than me - I'm just wandering round OS. I'm better at doing stuff in the mornings (which is why I'm not usually up so late).

Well she just tried some lentil soup and cream cheese on toast, well earlier, she is asleep now thankfully. She didn't like either but at least she did put it in her mouth. I'm sure she got 1 piece of veg in her gob from the soup :rotfl:

I'm just watching Glee club. The girls voice goes right through me, when she sings.

    Very cool show though.

Hope you had a nice time Elle :D

MFD, I do that aswell, deduct all my multibuys etc from the Tesco list and make a bet with OH on how much it will cost precisely :D

    Sorry.. wandered off :)

Apparently Rhys wolfed down his tea tonight - seven ice cubes of mashed mush (2x creamy mash and 1x peas, carrot, sweet potato, apple and cauliflower, a random mix, I know!) :D

Hurrah for it being OH's weekend off.. seems like ages since his last one! :o Next one is Valentine's wkend so might see if Mum will babysit and we can do something couple-y :)

I've had a warm mug of milk now so I'm off to bed again.

Hope you're getting some sleep now, Susan :)

I dozed off on the sofa.. Woke up and asked OH to fetch my expressing kit since he was in the kitchen and had a little grumble about "When can I stop all this expressing stuff?" (I don't mean it really; I'm just tired and wanna go to bed instead of staying up a while longer to express yet again :o) and OH said "whenever you like, sweetheart".. bless him! ;)

All of the girls I went out with tonight are long-term breastfeeders, quite a few with 16mth olds and one who was still feeding her 2yo after the birth of her now 8mth old. The one I've known since we were 2yo's has obviously told them all about Rhys/me expressing and they were so supportive of me.. :o

Only 15 more weeks to go.. mind you, I can't imagine actually stopping now! *confused* Meh! :o

Off to bed for me.. family lie-in until mid-afternoon, me thinks :D

    ETA: IT'S SNOWING!!
  • Morning all :)

Hi Elle, I thought everyone else had gone to bed. Baby next door was keeping me awake and now I can't sleep.

You don't live next door to me do you? We had a bad night with lots of full on yelling. Had to givin in and feed Izzy in the end, as she was starving poor thing. She ate loads yesterday, but I think she must be catching up from being poorly maybe. Who knows (I miss the shrugging smiley :( )

She has just noticed the graze box lying on the floor - already worked out they mean treats. I think that might be a signal that it is time for breakfast - we can have treats later ;)

  • We are such a classy household. Izzy has just eaten 2 of DH's left over chicken nuggets while her ready brek is cooling down  . I suppose it is no worse than eating last nights cold pizza, which I probably would be doing if I wasn't so much of a piggy last night, but still.

Ready brek here too, I cool it down by adding a little more milk and a petit filous to his portion! I think he just flung the empty bowl across the kitchen though so I'd better go..

Bless are you worried about Charlotte asking Qu's if she sees?

I don't think Charlotte would notice to be honest. It was me who felt uncomfy seeing him :o

Charlotte knows that and likes to help me eat it.

If anyone else is interested, I've got codes for people to get a free box. I don't think I'm allowed to post them here, so PM if you want one.

I'm also in the chocolate tasting club and she's worked out what their boxes look like as well :D

Button - would Keira eat more if she helped make stuff? Even if she just stirs something or puts pieces of veg in a pan. You can big it up and say things like "Keira made this, isn't she clever" and stuff like that.

Had some snow here overnight and it's freezing cold outside. Dogs have already been out going mental in it so our back garden looks like a ploughed field now :D

Working in the bathroom today taking off all the old wallpaper, tiles and skirting boards.

Have a good day everyone :)
Here I go again on my own....
